This ax is perfect for me and for all i need it for it is heavy so it will hit the mark needs to be sharpened but for $6.00 and change i was surprised at what i got for the money I plan to use the stone i sharpen my lawn mower with to sharpen the edge of the ax!

good enough for chopping  roots to clear a spot for my garden. for the price you won't  care if you abuse it,  better than a shovel  for removing shallow root systems, if you ever had to clear one  inch thick roots ,sharpened up good with file .

GOOD PRODUCT

I needed something to chop roots where I wanted to lay bricks and this is perfect. I'm 70 and I can handle this easily and it does exactly what I needed it to do.

Small axe, great for backyard gardening problems

After checking all home improvement stores in the area and not being able to find a decent axe for basic wood chopping at a reasonable price, i was very surprised to see walmart had one to offer online. It was delivered neatly and safely packed. Great size and weight and very comfy grip. Very happy with my purchase and the price.

I love my Coleman Camp Axe. The only complaint is it could have been sharper. It came pretty dull. If you have no problem sharpening a blade then this is the best camp axe for the value.

This is a really good axe. I've had this thing for quite a while now and this thing is very very sturdy and strong not one chip in the blade yet. The notch in the blade is nice for hanging or pulling out nails. And the hammer on the back is good too.(or pummel)It also has a nice weight to it.Now the cons this is a nice axe and all but the handle is curved, uncomfortable,and the handle look a lot different then it actually is.And most of all its not sharp,i mean it decent but..its not that sharp defenetly not good for chopping thick strong trees.(maybe saplings)But overall this is a good axe. Yes i would recommend this to a friend,Hope this helps.

Steel seems good but the handle is a weird material feels weird and has a terrible odor that gives me a headache, also needed to sharpen the axe, came pretty blunt

The size says it all. Only works for chopping small branches. The price was great but not very useful.

It came duller than a butter knife, completely ineffective to use to split kindling. It would not even split an apple, only smash it. Good as a stake hammer but nothing else
