Awesome tent. Love, love, love the screened in porch feature because having two sets of zippered doors makes it so easy to keep bugs, spiders and mosquitos out of the main room of the tent. Unzip the first door to enter the screened in porch and then re-zip the door behind you.  Then unzip the door to the main cabin, enter, and rezip the door.   This double entry keeps any flying insects and other critters from getting into the main cabin. I mean, I love camping, but I hate sleeping with mosquitoes and spiders!  Tent is easy to put up, has lots of windows and bonus features such as a lantern hanger and a hole to thread an electrical cord through.  The "dark room" feature allows you to sleep longer because you don't know it's light out yet.  This is the best tent EVER!

Love the  4 person zipper tent. We love to take this camping. It's great to sit outside and enjoy  letting the kids play games inside it. The soft bottom is comfy to just throw down sleeping bags and being able to monitor them. The canvas under the tent prevents any moisture from the ground. We love ours!

A functional and stylish product

We got this tent a couple years ago and it has worked great we've only went on a few camping trips maybe three but each time the tent has held up very well and is extremely easy to put up and fairly easy to put away. The instructions are simple and straightforward and make it very easy to travel with.

Very simple assembly

camping outdoors is my passion. that more recommended than a camping tent to have peace of mind in contact with nature. firm very spacious inside, easy to assemble, not very heavy to carry in the bag. durability, impermeability are its main characteristics

Ideal for camping.

I think it's the wrong tent but it's a tent just the same. It was my honeymoon suite in mount chase, Maine. I love camping I had the best low key wedding in Aug2024. The tent is very spacious without being crowded. I had two twin size cots/mattresses, pack & play, and queen size air bed in this tent. The kids had plenty room to play during the rainy weather. We had a 2nd tent for my two daughters and mom that I think was the one this review should be for. Both performed as designed and we spent two weeks comfortably camping in the north Maine woods without any issues.

Honeymoon suite 🤍

I recently took the Carlsbad 4-Person Dome Tent with Screen Room on a weekend camping trip, and I'm really impressed. The “Dark Room” technology truly made a difference — we were able to sleep in past sunrise and didn't feel overheated, even with the morning sun beating down. According to Coleman's specs, this feature blocks up to 90 % of sunlight and reduces heat inside the tent compared with a standard model.  ￼

What stood out most was the screen room: a comfortable, bug-free lounge area (or even extra sleeping space) that gave our small group extra flexibility. With the full floor in the screen room, it was easy to stash gear or relax after a hike.  ￼

Setup was quicker than expected for a tent of this size. The dome frame felt stable, and the ventilation and window awnings helped keep the air flowing nicely.  ￼

Overall, if you're looking for a car-camping tent in mild to moderate weather, the Carlsbad 4-Person offers strong comfort, smart features, and a good value.

My friends have tents with the same light blocking technology, but their tents are much darker.

Does not block as much light as advertised

DONT BUY THIS TENT.  WE  tried twice with this tent because the concept and design are great, but it is constructed poorly with geometry that will not withstand high winds,  it is definitely not an easy set up and we never did get it completely set up because we just gave up.  It takes numerous guide lines to stabilize it which is tedious when you are on hard ground especially since it is supposedly a free standing tent.  if you do try to return it,  I wish you a huge amount of luck trying to get it back in the duffel bag and box!!!

Don't buy this tent, you will probably regret it.
