Have had it for years we have many of them in all vehicles. You should never be with out them. Works every time nor as fuel needed one strike, and you have fire. It’s one life skill we’ve taught all of our kids never go without one.

I bought my boyfriend this because he always likes to have a backpack of survival gear around for emergencies. But I had never used one before. He wanted to make sure I could use on my own so when we went camping he had me do it on my own. Before trying it I read a lot of the reviews on it so I could learn properly because my boyfriend isn’t the best teacher lol. He showed me but I couldn’t get the hang of it. So when reading reviews they had a lot of helpful tips, two of the most helpful tips I read was to use dryer lint as a little kindling, which i already had, and then to also make sure I use enough shavings. And so after I used more shavings and made sure it was in a little pile on the lint , I had no issues and was able to start my first fire! 
This is a very useful thing to have, and it’s important to know how to use it as well! I definitely recommend this!

Such a useful tool

Work's very well, and it's great quality item to have to go camping and other outdoor activities. I really like the size of this item because it's not to big but not to samll.

Got the Grandson one of these at the age of nine just took him a few times to learn how to start a fire without any paper. He did a great job. The size is perfect with plenty of power and durability. What a great way to share a memory with the young ones.

Let sparks fly

I keep one on my key ring at all times! this was a replacement for one that was wore out. I also keep a Ferro rod inside my left boot lace as a backup source of ignition in the event I lose my keys.

Used many years ago just to show off. And always had one handy just in case it was needed . Works great in a pinch. Takes some time to learn but it's easy enough.

The design and build is easy to use and small enough to slide into your backpack. It's extremely durable and strong. It works really well it's super effective I use it on all my camping and hiking trips!

I like that these are waterproof and fireproof. They do take a little practice, so make sure you’re capable beforehand. It’s great to have available in damp conditions and very small and lightweight.
