I needed this as a last minute addition to my camping kit.  Placing the order was easy enough, and WOW, the fulfillment process was amazing.  Frequent updates throughout kept me comfortable that it would get to me in time for heading out.  The stove operated as expected, although the starter took a few test cycles before it would light consistently.  Nice even heat for pots and the griddle-top made for some fantastic cooking.  Easy clean-up, and just simply well designed.  Very very happy with this.

So our stove broke down and we had to bring out this Coleman stove. It's already assembled you just have to put the propane gas tank. It's portable. You can take it wherever you want. On a rock, on the table. Great for camping. Plus it's a two burner stove. You can do two things at once. I think the one I have is slightly different. Maybe it's an older version but Coleman is the brand to trust when camping. This stove has never failed me.

We used this when we used to horse camp. It was small enough that we could store easily. Being able to save the generator and use propane instead was nice as well. I also liked that i had control of the flame. Its is stable, safe and makes no noise when cooking like others do.

Easy to use

This stove is sleek and simple, works great. Just what we like!  I would love to give it 5 stars, but the ignition button is not a great design.  You have to PUSH it hard to get ignition, and that action pushes the whole stove away from you.  I have to brace the back of the stove when using the ignitor to prevent it from sliding. Inconvenient.  Our prior trusty Coleman (lasted 25 years!)  had an ignitor TWIST knob, which was a much better design.

Almost perfect

We gave our old 15 year old coleman to our daughter (the red button stopped working years ago though),so we got a new one.   Haven't been camping yet, but took it out and made sure it worked. We had to use a lighter the first time to get the flames lit, but the “ignition button” worked after that.

Might need “help” getting started

Nice unit, works very well. It is easy to set up and tear down. I have only used it once thus far. I like it and look forward to my next trip. A couple would be nice to haves, a marker on the burner knobs, the flames were are hard to see not I was not sure how high/low it was set at. It would also be nice if the unit was able to stand up right when folded up. The flame piece I will get with more use and the standing piece is not a big deal.

Recommend

Great value camping stove. It was just the right size for a little campout. The Triton is compact enough to fit in our kitchen box, and easy to carry. The igniters worked perfectly. Boiling a pot of water was quick. It was pretty windy in the evenings and the Triton struggled a little. Getting a good low heat takes some work. For the money, the Triton is tough to beat.

Excellent value

The stove is pretty good, it gets the job done, but there are two issues with it. I knew what I was getting myself into regarding the igniter, but I thought it would last a little bit longer than one camping trip, I ended up using matches most of the time. the other issue is it's really hard to regulate the flame. the knob just keeps turning and turning and turning - why couldn't it just be labeled on some sort of scale so I knew how much gas is going through like, low, medium high or something like that. I burned a lot of pancakes. Unfortunately, I actually like my butane stove is better. The igniter is on the knob that you just turn so you're not pushing the stove away from you to light it and it has indicator, so I know if it's low, medium or high. So I guess the Coleman is my back up instead of my primary.

The automatic start button doesn't work. I tried several times, each time I had to manually start the stove. I do like the fact that you can choose high or lower flame. The carry handle is a nice feature as well. The stove does slide very easily over the table, for that it gets a lower rating as well.

nice enough

Although I like this camp stove, it does have its problems. The ignition on the left burner doesn't work well. I have to use a lighter on it. Kind of defeats the purpose of spending the extra money for a stove with ignition if I still have to use a lighter.  Other than that it does the trick.  So save your money and get the model without ignition.
