The strength of the minty flavor is very refreshing and gives us breath confidence, but if you don't like a strong minty taste, that may bother you. I've been using optic white advanced (Colgate), and it really works well for me. It leaves my mouth feeling fresh, clean, and the freshness lasts for hours. It's even great for people with sensitive mouths I had no irritation at all. The flavor is okay, not too strong or too sweet, and I didn't notice anything bad about it. Its not expensive at all, and  for the quality,  it's worth it. The packaging is good, neat, and easy to use. Overall, it's very effective it works great for my teeth, my breath, and overall oral care.

Fresh and clean feeling

I have struggled with yellow, daily coffee stained teeth my entire life and I have tried countless "whitening" toothpastes over the years and I am beyond glad to say after purchasing optic white advanced literally just yesterday after only 2 uses so far, I am almost a whole shade whiter!!! I can't wait until I see the final results in 4 to 6 weeks!!! The flavor is incredible and it foams perfectly as I'm brushing. My teeth feel like I had a dental cleaning done.... without the sensitivity I've experienced with the others. I finally found my forever toothpaste to whiten my teeth and maintain the whitening even with daily coffee drinking! It is a smidge pricey but that's because I'm broke all the time thanks to car payments lol yet I am going to continue buying this incredible toothpaste from now on!  I  can finally have a brighter smile for my dream wedding when I marry my amazing boyfriend. Thank you, colgate optic white!!!

absolutely perfect product!!

I hope y'all can tell that I use this very frequently… and I'm trying to get every drop out of this squeeze bottle of toothpaste. This is the only toothpaste I have used that leaves my teeth feeling squeaky clean and white ALL day. I have tried other brands but always end up coming back to Colgate. The optic white one makes a difference after one brush… which I know is hard to believe but it works wonders. I pair this with Therabreath mouthwash and also highly recommend that. This is a great toothpaste!!

Throughout my life I have only used Colgate products I am sad to say that is no longer the case. I have been using optic white since it first came out and I love it but not only was the price increased by $2 for the box of 2, the size was decreased from 4 oz to 3.2 oz and the packaging looks significantly cheaper. This is not the first time the size was decreased but I liked it so much I chose to keep using it. This is the final straw and it is sad but after being a Colgate user for over 49 yrs. I will now be switching to Crest. Shame on you Colgate.
