I would like everyone to know that I reccomend the Command Decorating Clips to hang any holiday light strand to any walls. I used them to hang pumpkin lights in my childs room.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the Decorating clips completely differently than most people.  In the RV  behind the sink I used the clips to attache a wire rack.  The rack is used to store dish soap, hand soap etc so I do not have to put them away every time we travel. The clips keeps the wire rack in place and I can lift the rack to clean behind it and then remount it.   It took several tries before I got the hooks positioned  to hold the rack

I use Command Decorating Clips to hold anywhere from 40 to 60 small blinking and steady lights onto my prosthetic leg for the holiday season! I usually wear them from Thanksgiving through New Years. The product holds up, is easy to use and leaves no residue after I take them off.

Good for Christmas Lights

I have used the command decorating clips for well over 10 yrs to hang decorations & lights for every holiday ... I rely heavily on this product to make my home festive and inviting for family & friends. I loved loved loved the clear decorating clips with the white sticky tabs. The white hangers are ok, but I much prefer the clear ones. I don't like the waterproof ones or whatever they are called (bluish sticky tabs). The newer clear clips with the clear sticky tabs are just terrible, hold nothing and are frankly a complete waste of money. Any chance you might consider bringing back the old product? Why change something that worked so great? Oh and why such a price increase over the last few years? Very disappointing that you change the product and hiked the price up 3-4 times what they used to be.

Why did you change a great thing?

Decorating Clips were easy breezy sticking them up on the ceiling to hold my snowflakes. They held up all Christmas season but they were not so easy breezy taking them down. The tabs were breaking off while I was removing them. I had to use a blow dryer to heat up the adhesive then use a vey small flat head screwdriver wedged between the clip and ceiling to remove them. There are some spots were the clip and adhesive just pulled off the paint layer. Not very happy about this..

These are obviously old stock and likely kept in a store window. 
Yellowed paper and no usable adhesive. Even the back of the package is yellowed compared to the ones I got locally 
Luckily I was able to get some of the same style at my local Walmart for half the price. (Originally to ADD to these, not replace them.)
I'd return them, but I don't want the hassle. I'll just get more strips for the hooks later.
The ones circled are this shipment. The other, whiter ones are from my local Walmart.
