First year I tried these. I made the installation of outdoor christ light so easy and so far they're holding in place. It will be a huge bonus if these last for more than one Christmas season!

Great product

Caddle

The command outdoor light clips are quick, each and great to use. They make hanging garland and lights a breeze. I've used them for a few years and they hold up great throughout winter storms and cold.

Outdoor Light Clips

We used these clips to put up rope lights on our condo balcony. These clips are great when it comes to keeping the lights up, they were weatherproof, didn't come off in the rain, etc. 

Problem was when we tried to put in a different rope light, the clip snaps when you try to move it afterward. This is just something to be aware of when you're purchasing is that you should consider them as a one-time only use and that they are not re-usable.

I followed all the instructions, have smooth surfaces, used alcohol to clean the surface, waiting over an hour to hang, and they still came unstuck after the first day, kind of a waste of money, adhesive needs to be stronger!

Item damaged

This is the biggest scam ever. It ain't THAT HARD to sell a product that actually works - or at least make sure your stock isn't dry. This is a big company, adding clear and useful instructions to your packages won't kill you.
Great job 3M! Your marketing sucks, just as any other cheap company.

I have just purchased some clear clips expecting the the 'gum/sticky part' to be clear too but no it is a white. When purchasing you cannot tell this due to the backing. What is the point of buying clear hooks to be invisible if the they end up looking white anyway  - confused !

The clips are great unfortunately the strips do not stick at all. I cleaned the vinyl around my windows as directed. Spent a long time hanging lights inside my windows even had them spaced only six inches apart. Woke up this morning with my lights on the floor. With the price of these clips I would expect them to work. 8

Disappointed

Jung lights Sunday by Monday one or two fell.  Over the night 2 more fell off and now that it is raining I am afraid what I will find when I get home but based on already falling off and other reviews, I have a feeling the lights will be on the ground :-(  (yes we followed the instructions)
