When the strips are new from the store they are great, but they have a shelf life. Yes, they loose their sticking power and stuff starts falling off the wall if you have been storing them in a drawer for future use. So just buy what you need right now.

Always sticks super fast and holds the weight! I am a command strip lover and always will be unless they fail. I have gotten them for multiple apartments that I've needed to decorate and they work so well! I love them!

Works wonderfully!

I use the 20 lbs Heavyweight to secure my thin carpet on the floor. My cats it a great idea to do zoomies in my small abode so during their antics they just slide on the carpet until it's folded in half. My little DIY seem to be working and hold the carpet in place.

These really do hold things on the wall very well. I have my essential oils stored on the wall on a salon type nail polish shelf. They are not light. I am so glad these Command strips are available so I can reinforce how I have the shelf hing on the wall.

Heavy Duty Hanging Strength

I use command strips all over my home. The reason for only 4 stars is because I have hung 2 pictures with the heavy duty strips (6 on each frame)but both pictures fell off the wall. The strip attached to the wall was still attached.  However,  the strips attached to the picture frames tho still on the frams, had detached from the wall strips about a year on the wall. I have remounted the pictures, but will push the frames word the wall now and then to make sure the command strips keep a tighter connection.

Good for heavy pictures

my house was built in 1953 so it has that old dry hard as a rock sheet rock that you can barely hammer and nail through. It's literally impossible to hang a picture the old-fashioned way through this wall it is rock solid so you definitely need command strips to hang up any wall any type of decoration on the wall. I have never had a problem with command strips easy to hang up easy to stick on the wall hold up just about anything I put it anyway I just cut them into and put them on all four sides of the frame and boom put it on the wall super easy nothing has ever fallen off yet.

Only hanging tool I use

TRULY, if I had a brain, I would have realized the back to the  clock insert is not flat with the back of wooden frame around the clock!   Best I can describe..//only that it has nothing to do with the product!   It's the brain !   These picture hangers are really great for their purpose.

Customer brain disfunction.

Used them to hang a 1 lb shelf and it fell off the wall after 20 minutes with three of these suckers on it. The only thing I stuck on the shelf was a 16 oz glass empty to display and it dropped the shelf like it wasn't even trying. This is the 3rd time I've tried using different types of the product none of them work unless it's a slick flat surface so stop saying your product works on all walls it doesn't work on any.

Use nails

Advertised 8 pack to be added in the cart and they just send 1 pack of 4. I dont think that was a mistake, it looks more like false advertising on this product.
