Simple installation and removal process without damaging walls.

Can securely hold smaller pictures, but may struggle with larger ones.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I must admit I was pleasantly surprised at the this command hanger was sturdy and actually held the weight as product stated. I have used numerous Command products through the years and most disappointed to NOT live up to the claim of holding X amount of pounds.

Command hangers and beyond

Works just like it is supposed to. No trouble installing and it holds a fairly heavy picture frame firmly on the wall. Expensive for just one, but I guess if you take into account no holes in the wall, I suppose it pays for itself.

Works Great!

These were very easy to use and worked like a charm. I hung 6 pictures up on my living room walls without having to put one hole or nail, and without having to worry if I decided to change the height or location of a picture because they are easy to remove. The price is a little high though considering it's just a piece of plastic and a sticky strip. I paid almost $4.00 for each pack containing only one hanger with two sticky strips.

Easy to use - works great!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My husband and I moved into an "older" apartment about a year ago. We were told by our landlord to be "very careful" when it came to putting holes in the plaster...especially if we wanted our deposit back. We went an entire year with blank walls...until I found 3M Picture hanging products!

We have some "not cheap" Salvatore Dali prints that are in very nice frames and mats. Normally, I would need, at least, two nails to hang each of the three prints. Not now! With the Sawtooth Picture hanging system, it was EASY! The pictures hung quickly and the Sawtooth picture hanger stuck to the (not smooth) plaster wall with no problem at all! With what would normally take about 30 minutes (per picture) to hang...and two people to hang them...I was able to hang them myself with ease...while my husband watch baseball on the couch. lol

I was so impressed that I ended up heading out and buying MORE of the 3M products to hang my shelving, wall plaques and other frames. I LOVE THESE! I had a few extra, so I actually tested them out. My husband thought I was nuts when I took down one of the wall plaques and took off the 3M Command product to see how easy it was! NOT A MARK ON THE WALL!

Thank you 3M! You saved us our deposit AND our apartment looks like OUR home now!

OMG!!!

After 12+ years in the same building, my office is moving across the street. I used several of these Sawtooth Picture Hangers to hang art when we moved into this building, and today, I pulled on the tab to remove one for the first time. It came off completely clean - after more than 12 years! Thanks 3M!

Unbelievable after 12 years!

I bought this product over the weekend to hang pictures in wooden picture frames. The largest frame is 11x17. The back of the frame has 2 D-rings to support the frame. I bought these hooks because I have plaster walls and I can't get a screw into them. I mounted the holders and within 24 hrs the frame came down. I figured since there were two holders for the picture frame it would be more secure but this system failed. I've got two more 8x10s mounted but I've since taken them down.

BEWARE!!!!

Rachel

I moved into an apartment in December 2014. It was renovated in summer time and I didn't want to put nail holes in the walls so I used 3m command sawtooth picture hangers...The pictures have been on the walls since January and have had 3 pictures fall off so far, smashed, broken glass everywhere and the worst thing is I can live with the smashed pictures but when it ripped paint off the wall and now I have to patch and paint because now not only can I not hang pictures on my walls but I will lose my damage deposit when I move out at some point....NOT HAPPY!!!!!

Do not use

Command Brand

I hung my mother's wedding picture - a 3.1 lb frame - from this 5lb hook, following all directions. It sat on the wall for a full 24 hours from installation to hanging. Within 6 months, I hear a crash in the hall, and come out to find Mom on the ground. There was a thumb-nail size bit of paint on the strip at the bottom, but the remainder was clean. Guess I will have to go back to hammer and nails.....

Didn't hold

Social Engagement

I tryed 3 different hooks for my memo board. I called Command and the lady suggested these. I put the hanger on the wall, tryed to remove it, but it torned off the paint.

I was hoping these work

I bought these aprox. a year ago. I bought the sawtooth and the strips to hang pictures as I didn't want nail holes in my new walls. Over this time two pictures have fallen off the strips and one off the sawtooth hanger. One of the strips ripped the paint off when removing. Would not recommend this product.
