This A/C Unit is just fine!

She's KOOL!

We enclosed my husbands out building.  Insulated the ceiling, added a door and needed a good A/C unit.  Looked at Lowes and they were price.  My husband said we needed 12,000 BTU's to cool the building.  Started looking and found this unit thru Wal-Mart.  Put it in and cools great.  Has a remote control, the Econ control.  Works so well my son had me order him one for his bedroom for his trailer.  Can't tell you how proud my husband is to have something that cools his building so now he has useful space to work from!!  Would definitely recommend this unit as long as it stays fairly priced!  Can't beat what you get for the price. $320.00

Priced right!

I was concerned about some remarks about the AC being loud, so I was very happy to not have loud running noise. It is quiet and has done an excellent job of cooling off my entire house. I live in NW Florida and our temps have surpassed 100 degrees almost daily. Very easy to install.

Positive review

This AC is surprisingly loud, but worth getting used to the white noise. Easy to install. Came with everything needed. Cooled our little house right away, and has a thermostat and energy-saving setting. Bonus: the filter is washable and reusable. I'm very happy with this purchase.

Loud but worth it

We have had this unit as a supplemental unit for my man-cave for three months now. Right through all of August and it has worked well in a 24' by 20' room. I like the room to be very cool due to a medical condition and this does the job well.

It is louder than many units, which doesn't bother me at all, but if you are looking for a quiet unit then this may not be the best choice for you.

The remote doesn't come with a battery, so you will need to buy that separately, it needs one of the CR2025 coin sized batteries. The remote seemed a little sporadic at first, but settled down after a week or so and has worked well.

Worked well through a Tennessee August

Seems like a nice unit although with the cool temps lately I haven't been able to test it out properly. 4 instead of 5 stars because of damage during shipping. Manufacturer should protect unit better before shipping but Fed Ex is to blame for using the box for a step. A clear foot print was on top of the box exactly on top of the damage which was a cracked front cover and a large dent on top of the unit. This kind of damage is not unusual for Fed Ex in my experience but some of the blame goes to lack of protection during packing of the unit.

Better packing needed but seems to be a nice unit.

Bought this unit months back when on sale. Just opened and installed and blows Cool air Not Cold. Will not hold Temp. Checked with thermometer and only blows 64 at coldest and not for long. Great when it's 80 out but no good in the 90s or in the 100s as it was yesterday. Maybe I got a bad one or it's just the make. My old Frigidaire blew at 50-52 all the time and lasted 7 years?? Going back to Frigidaire!

Returning. Flimsy like it's manufactured for Labor Day Sale.  VERY Loud! Runs ok, but turns itself to Eco on its own during the night or when I'm gone %26 house gets hot.  Definitely would not recommend

Loud %26 Flimsy  No condensation Drainage

Do  not buy, I only used it last year and this year it does not blow cool air and instead warm air and acts like a fan. After looking for further reviews, I am not alone on this. I am only hoping I can get some sort of warranty help.
