While it melts ice reasonably well, it creates a thick, sticky mess that gets all over our shoes and our dogs' paws and has made our floors and carpets horrendously sticky. I'll stick to regular salt in the future

Effective and safe

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Melts fast and does not track into my house like balls or pellets do.

Excellent at melting snow and ice without damaging our
exposed aggregate driveway.  A little 'pricey' and not
available as many places as regular rock salt but the
product is more than worth the extra cost.
