Love this Fabric shaver.
Long lasting battery - I was able to clean a 3 seater couch covered in lint on a single charge.
I suggest using it without the guard for a smooth cut.
the lint catching bin is reasonable for clothes  but small for a couch cleaning operation.

Worth giving a second life to your old stuff

I had one of these defuzzer's yeara ago and was very happy with it.  I do my laundry in the laundry room of my apartment complex and have found that a lot
of "fuzz balls" are appearing on my clothes which make them look dirty.  This
fabric defuzzer has been great to make my laundry look new again.  Great product!

Easy to use and is a nice size.

I love him very much. It works great with or without cord and it has 3 shaving heights. I appreciate that it is without battery. The container that picks up the foam is a little small but just emptying it more often. Give clothes a second life!

All right!

I bought this a few weeks ago to see if it would remove all the pilled fuzz from a favourite blanket and I was not disappointed. I wanted a close trim so used it with the guard removed and it did a great job. I think it would be marvelous to restore your favourite sweaters to looking new again. I would definitely recommend this little defuzzer.

The only drawback that I found was having to empty the lint catcher so often because it is not very big but the unit is very easy to disassemble and reassemble when you want to get all of the fuzz out of it.

Great little tool for removing fuzzballs

We bought this because our couch was pilling and we needed something to get rid of it. Our previous fabric shaver had batteries and we wanted a rechargeable one. Charge time does take a while, best to leave it overnight. We use it without the guard for a closer shave and find it works better without it. It's easy to clean out and maintain. Overall a great purchase, we are glad we got it!

I now have a new hobby which is de-fuzzing sweaters, mitts, scarves, socks or anything with pill!  This machine has changed my life and will save me hundreds of dollars on buying new clothing and accessories.  I can't wait to go home and defuzz two Merino wool sweaters tonight.

According to the website description, this is supposed to work corded or cordless. Which means it should work as soon as you plug it in regardless of the whether or not the battery is charged. But it didn't; I had to charge the battery first. Which makes me wonder if the unit will still work when the rechargeable battery has reached the end of its life.

The razor is ok for very small surfaces to be decotted. Very little battery life. Too small and too thin a stuffed animal tank, which keeps the stuffed animals stuck in the head of the razor and must be constantly removed with pliers.

I gave this 3 stars in an earlier review but turned out that was premature: I should have tried the unit more thoroughly before leaving a review. Unfortunately, Walmart's system doesn't allow for edits or updates.

I bought this to replace a vintage defuzzer my mom gave me that is starting to show its age. Had to take this Conair one back immediately mainly because the lint reservoir is so SMALL that I didn't even finish one side of a sweater before I had to empty the reservoir; by comparison, the reservoir on my vintage defuzzer only needs to be cleaned out after I've done about 10 sweaters. When you then try to clean out the Conair reservoir, you have to find a pair of tweezers because you cannot get your finger down its narrow canal. As if that isn't bad enough, the design of the blade head causes it to clog up repeatedly, again before you've even finished a single sweater. People, save your money. Conair, go back to the design table.

Terrible, ineffective design

I first bought the battery operated, then the rechargeable one as i thought i can save money from keep on buying batteries. But was so disappointed. Its not working well. Once charged it can only last for 3mins. also not working well when plugged in.
