No special tools were required other than a rubber mullet. The storage feature is a huge bonus BUT it specifically states that it is NOT intended for storage of chemicaa. It's one open space on the bottom but has slots on the top. The material is perfect for the harsh Florida climate. Definitely recommend. I received this product for free in exchange for my honest opinion.
