Minimal issues during simple installation process.

I think this will work well for our family.
My only suggestion is that there should be alternative spots where the frame has been pre-
drilled to accommodate the ladder so you have a choice on where to attach it.

This bed was easy a great buy for my kids , the size is perfect. They was easy to put together as well.

We have step children (high school and middle school-who are not small in frame) and many visitors..we decided a bunk bed was our best option, as we have limited space. Due to the size of our kids, we knew full over full was the only way to go. We searched the largest department store and furniture store showroom floors and were very disappointed at the quality and the cost was twice the cost of this bed. We stumbled on this bed online and ordered the set immediately. Very quick delivery and my husband assembled the beds in about an hour. We love these beds!

They are sturdy and well made, no rocking or loose parts, the kids love them and we couldn't be happier. They are perfect for adults because they are not twin and make the best use of our space. We bought black and LOVE THE LOOK. You won't find another bed like this, especially for the price. Value and a safe, sturdy bed is what we were looking for and exactly what Walmart delivered! Thank you!

Was not expecting the box to be so big but it's a big bed. Definitely need a full size truck to pick up. Ordered online and came much faster than expected. Very easy to assemble. Love it that there are several slats for foundation. Was afraid I was going to have to buy one. Very satisfied overall.

If you are picking it up from the store you need a truck that is big enough to accommodate ,the box is too large.

I would rather give a 4.5 star rating, but that's not an option.  The only reason I wouldn't go a full 5 stars is because of the size of the box it comes in.  The dimensions aren't listed anywhere, and to save myself the over $60 in shipping costs, I had it delivered to the store so I could pick it up.  Unfortunately, I don't have a vehicle large enough, and had to have my brother pick it up for me.  

The assembly was easy enough to do.  My son and daughter (ages 25 and 16) helped me with it, and we were able to handle it without issue.  We brought in the pieces individually, rather than haul the 125 pound, bulky box in the house and up the stairs, but other than that it was fine.  All the pieces were there, nothing was damaged, and it seems very sturdy.  I wanted something that was tested at a higher weight because it's going to be for adult-sized people, not little kids, and I am happy with the purchase.  It does move a little, but it doesn't shake all over the place, when climbing up and down the ladder.

The ladder steps are very narrow, which is somewhat painful.  I tried putting a pool noodle on the steps but that made my daughter very uncomfortable, because the noodle wants to slide around.  The kids' idea to solve the problem is to use slippers.  

The headboard and foot board on both the top and bottom bunks are also a selling point for us; my son didn't want his pillows falling off the bed.

Overall, we are quite satisfied with this bed.

FYI - Box is about the size of a Q sized mattress

Docked 1 star because Walmart shipped pewter instead of black. Figured it was too much hassle to exchange especially since box is big and heavy, glad I had it shipped rather than picking it up. Also, the box is difficult to open without cutting it.

Pros: Easy to assemble, feels sturdy. (We still need to find out how it feels with a mattress)
Cons: Like others say, climbing on the ladder does hurt your feet. Will definitely use a pool noodle to wrap the rungs.

Walmart shipped the wrong color but...

The box damage on unknown until unpacked... we open the box we unpacked the items and one of the rails was bent...

Shipping took longer than I expected, over a week and a half. I love the look of the bed, my low rating came from the condition it was in when it arrived. The box is huge, and it had came apart at some point & been taped back together, exposing the bed itself. There were scrape marks all over it and one big dent in the top that can't be covered...after paying almost $50 for freight shipping I was highly disappointed. But returning wasn't an option as the box is too large. As far as sturdiness, its great. Not a lot of head room on bottom bunk but we also have a 8" mattress on it.
