Good water bottle

Really great little water bottle! It has 3 features to avoid spillages: A button to press when you need to drink from it, a cap over the top of the spout, and a lock switch to ensure the button can't be pressed accidentally. I can have a full bottle of water sloshing around in my bag (have even acidentally placed it upsidedown once or twice) and not need to worry about everything getting soaked.

I absolutely love this water bottle !.

I spent a lot of money on other brands from outdoor retailers, one even had a magnetic top,ane it leaked ;-(.

This one however is light even when filled to the brim, it can handle sparkling water ( you just press the button, away from you to release the gas, before taking a sip), it has kept the water fresh , and at an even temperature.

I wish I had discovered this brand earlier, before wasting money on others, and I am delighted Asda sell it online, so that it came with my main grocery shop

Contigo bottle

I have had the Cortland 24 oz for a couple of years now.   Unfortunately, I'm clumsy and I drop them and I have a tile floor which damages the can.  Seems life after a couple of drops the insulation capability declines.   I have had a problem with on lid leaking at the mouthpiece.   I just fooled around with it and seems to be working now.  Might be helpful to be able to get replacement on the lid itself.   I love them overall and have given them as gifts to family members.

I have owned my contigo autoseal 24 oz water bottle for several years. I love that I can operate this water bottle with one hand with a simple push of a button and not have to worry about it leaking EVER. My bottle has the clip on the handle which I like so I can clip it to my backpack.  Unfortunately, it looks like this option is no longer available. The only negative I have with this bottle (probably my fault) is the rubber tip which seals the opening developed black staining one summer after being left in my car too long between washes. I assume black mold grew on this rubber tip. Unfortunately, it will not wash out. I wish I could order a replacement rubber tip since I don't want to replace my bottle due to the new ones not having a clip on the handle.

Beware this has a plastic bottle and not the stainless steel I'm used to.

Contigo Consumer Care

Finally! A big water bottle that holds a full litre of water *and* doesn't use a straw. This has been missing from the Contigo line for a while.

Pros:
• Huge
• No straw

Cons:
• Leaks if one isn't especially careful about keeping it fully upright
• The plastic loop (handle?) is made of soft plastic that tears off under the weight of a full bottle. Bring back the rigid plastic carabiner-style handles! They were bulky, but they worked.
• Doesn't fit into a standard cupholder, which makes this a pain to use while driving. Contigo, please make your bottles fit in standard cupholders!

Finally, a big bottle. But...

My previous Contigo was great, I had used it for five years until it hit the cobblestones in Spain and broke. The replacement Cortland 24 oz plastic water bottle with the auto seal lid is a poor design. The lid can be washed in the dishwasher, however, I have to use a special brush to scrub the opening while pressing the auto seal on the lid to remove gunk that builds up and I also have to use a small screwdriver to be able to clean the black mold around the black plastic seal. 
Overall, in my opinion the lid is a poor design for keeping clean at home and while traveling.
