These are the only travel mugs my husband and father-in-law like. So sad we cant find them in any store anywhere. Glad I found them online though.

At first the travel mug works very well. The ease of one handed use is helpful. After prolonged  use though, my auto seal lost it's strength and started to leak. The leaking stained several shirts due to this lackluster durability of the seal. I wound up throwing mug out. Hoping mine was a bad lot of mugs,

Great mug. I receive a lot of compliments. Only nagging issue is that it does not have padding at the base like the previous AutoSeal version. It was a great feature when you have a glass desk.

The appearance of this mug looks slick but unfortunately, the metal trimmed lid becomes excessively hot to the degree that one is unable to drink a hot beverage without burning lips.

Flawed

This mug is nice looking and keeps things warm for a long time, BUT the paint immediately started chipping off. It was not an inexpensive mug and it says it’s dishwasher safe. This is frustrating.

Definitely NOT SPILL PROOF. Bought a set of 2 with the locking mechanism. I was hoping for better performance than previous contigo product from a few years ago but not happy. The new ones leak with hot or cold beverages and leak with or without using the lock. Very disappointed.
