I've used this Just For Men Control GX in the past, but in a lighter shade. I ordered the darker shade to see how it works, but I'm totally amazed in the quality of this product.

Great gradual gray coverage with a natural look!

I began using just for men, I believe in the 80s. Although it did the job, it was difficult to get a proper hair color. Too dark mostly. I switched to the shampoo about seven or eight years ago and what a difference. It is incredibly easy and I use it now about once a week. I have only one question to the experts. I get a haircut about every 5 to 6 weeks. When I do, gray shows up after the haircut and patches. It takes me quite a while to darken those back again. When I am using the shampoo, I dig in to the scalp, trying to make sure I am coloring every part of my hair, but to no avail, I still get the gray patches after a haircut. Even the haircutter will ask me, “do you color your hair“? Any suggestions?

Using JFM for decades

I have only used it once, which is probably not enough to notice any major changes.  But the product was easy to use, and it did not make the mess I was afraid of.

At 41 I noticed too many grays for my comfort. This works well and is simple. I’ve used this for 2 weeks straight with good results. I’ve noticed it’s better to do a quick rinse and dry hair quickly. 

I haven’t noticed any color stains my towels or pillow cases. It will stain long fingers nails so just use your palms. I shake the bottle as well. My only complaint is the color splash speckles that’s in the shower and shower curtain after but it washes off right away and doesn’t stain my tub or tile even if it dries.

It works!

The tube should be reversed. The cap needs to be on the narrow end not on the wide mouth cap. The blackening agent gets trapped near the cap and doesn’t evenly mix even when massaging the tube.

Reverse the tube cap.

Just started using it. Cannot tell you a lot about it. Do like that it does not make a mess like the one out of the box. No matter how careful you are get stains in bathroom.

I've been using control gx shampoo for many years, it had stopped working. I was mostly using it on my beard, I bought the beard one and same result nothing, started using it again after a break and now I'm getting chemical burns and had to shave off my beard of 25 years it was a great product until recently. Not happy

Disappointed

This item is not doing anything as stated on the package.  Would not recommend to anyone , it's just a waste of money.
