This desk is nice quality for the money. It was extremely easy to put together. You just attach the legs and the drawer handle and your done. There were a couple of bucks on the legs. I believe they happened before the desk being packed as the packaging is very protective. The nicks were not bad and they were not noticeable once I assembled the desk. I am very pleased with the look and quality of this desk.
