My husband and I began experimenting with out pellet grill last summer and have samples quite a few brands and smoke flavors on the journey.  This flavor is so terrific in particular, as the apple mash maple flavor is so unique and really gives meat such a beautiful smoky flavor, without being too powerful.  This particular flavor is a beautiful cross between sweet and smoky, and we both enjoyed the bold flavor infusion after a slow cook session! We cookies a skirt steak and burgers using Cookinpellets brand and love how beautifully shaped and how sturdy these pellets are.  They work beautifully in our smoker and we look forward to trying more flavors from the brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 40 lbs of maplewood apple mash pellets lasts for many smoked feasts. I like that these pellets have no fillers such as bark. The aroma is subtle and sweet. I like that it is not an overpowering taste. My backyard smells amazing when using this in my smoker. I made a ham with these and the taste was a huge hit with my family. I did soak my pellets for a few minutes before use. I feel it extends smoke time. I highly recommend this. I also feel this can be used with any type of meats.

The best smokey aroma of apple mash.

(We smoke a lot of trout, since we raise it for food). It comes as an easy to use pellets that would fit easily into any smoker tray and it smokes great! I would highly recommend- we have been VERY pleased and will most definitely purchase in the future!

Absolutely Amazing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Apple Mash Hard Maple Cookin Pellets are not messy and are easy to use.  The instructions on the 40 pound bag are easy to read and follow.  The instruction indicates they can be used not only in a Pellet cooker but also in a gas grill.  The instructions are clear and easy to follow.  The pellets appear to be a quality made product.  I followed the instructions on the bag to the letter for a gas grill.  I cooked four pork chops about an inch thick at 400 degrees for roughly 40 minutes, they were delicious.  I cooked hamburgers about ½ inches thick for about 10 minutes at 500 degrees, they were delicious.  I didn't experience a difference in taste or smell of either the pork chops or hamburgers using the Apple Mash Hard Maple Cookin Pellets.  I would not recommend the product to friends unless they were using a pellet cooker.

I like the no mess

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used these cooking pellets twice now in my electric smoker. They burn as they should. I didn't have to use more than my normal pellets. They left a great flavor on the chicken and beef jerky that I made. Being a 40lb bag is also great, it can be hard to find bags that big. Overall they work great and have good flavor and of course smell.
