[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bag is convenient and will last a while. To keep the pellets fresh, I am storing the bag in a air tight container. Pellet size is consistent. The blend is good for smoking brisket, pork shoulder and ribs. All we've tried so far is a pork shoulder roast and it came out fabulous. There is nothing like the smell of a smoker cooking in the neighborhood.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Apple Mash Hard Maple Cookin Pellets are not messy and are easy to use.  The instructions on the 40 pound bag are easy to read and follow.  The instruction indicates they can be used not only in a Pellet cooker but also in a gas grill.  The instructions are clear and easy to follow.  The pellets appear to be a quality made product.  I followed the instructions on the bag to the letter for a gas grill.  I cooked four pork chops about an inch thick at 400 degrees for roughly 40 minutes, they were delicious.  I cooked hamburgers about ½ inches thick for about 10 minutes at 500 degrees, they were delicious.  I didn't experience a difference in taste or smell of either the pork chops or hamburgers using the Apple Mash Hard Maple Cookin Pellets.  I would not recommend the product to friends unless they were using a pellet cooker.
