This game a little more advanced than the first one. It's fun to play, but I wish it would have had multiple players instead of one player; unless I looked at it wrong. Nevertheless, we are all enjoying this Cooking Mama World Tour game.

Our granddaughter has been asking for this, and when we heard about it, we knew we could find it at WalMart.
She just loves it, it's a great learning tool for her, she's 10 yrs. old, so she has starting showing an interest in cooking. This is the perfect gift.

I can always find what I'm looking for at WalMart

Not only is this a fun game.. I actually purchased it for another purpose. My husband had a stroke about 9 months ago and has been having physical therapy. At this time he and I are the only ones doing his therapy. I saw on webmd.com website that this game was recommended for arm/shoulder therapy because of the action of stirring, chopping, etc... It has really helped him and improved the range he has in his arm.

Game really helped

I bought this for my daughter for her 11th birthday. She very much enjoyed it, though she wouldn't recommend it for all ages. After the first couple of times of playing it, she lost interest. She has done very well with it but it keeps making her start the game over from the beginning level instead of moving her ontot he next level. She at times gets frustrated with it and just walks away from it all together.

Happily cooking with mama

THIS WAS BOUGHT FOR MY 11 YR OLD DAUGHTER, SHE SAYS THIS GAME IS FUN, SHE HAS IT FOR HER NINTENDO DS AND DECIDED SHE WOULD TRY IT ON THE WII.. SHE SAYS IT'S LIKE REALLY LEARNING TO COOK.. MY 8 YR OLD LIKES IT ALSO.. IT IS FUN TO WATCH THEM PLAY THIS GAME I WOULD RECOMMEND THIS GAME TO ANY GIRL WHO LIKES TO HELP IN THE KITCHEN LIKE MY GIRLS DO

I purchased this for my kids who are 12 and 8. We have the cooking mama cook off and thought this would be more fun. Its really not. The movements with the Wii remote are different than the cooking mama cook off and its got much more animation which I think takes away from the game. My kids made 1 thing and went back to the old one. My personal opinion is to rent it first before you buy.

all in all it's fine but a little hard. it's challenging to the point where you would have to take a break before you continue playing. it could get a little frustrating because when you move the remote, it doesn't immediately follow how you want to. overall it's an alright game. it's entertaining and somewhat fun for the whole family.

I thought after all the good reviews about the other Cooking Mama's that this one would be just as good, but it really isn't. The voice that constantly says, "Mama will help you" is annoying and so repetitive. The game doesn't really teach you how to do the actions, you just have to learn right or wrong as you go and repeat the recipe over and over until you get it. Maybe the first cooking mama actually shows you how to do it and that is why this one doesn't really make any sense to me, but the voice alone makes me not want to play the game.

Not As Expected

I have cooking mama for the DS and I just love it so I couldnt wait to get it for the Wii. Big mistake. This game is way too expensive for the quality you get. The graphics are good, but the controls are awful! It tells you to do something and you try to do it and the girl just sits there and does nothing especially on stirring! You break your arm trying and it doesnt go anywhere. I was very very disappointed in this game. On top of that the timer is not very long at all so 99% of the time you dont even get to complete the task because its so difficult to do to start with and then the timer runs before you can complete it! It was not $50 worth thats for sure! I'm sticking to the DS game, this game just frustrates me!

Controls dont work right!

I am incredibly disappointed in this game... I have the first Cooking Mama and I love it, was really excited about a new one. It doesn't teach you what to do and you can't compete against another player like you can in the other one.

Not as fun as the first one!
