I purchased this for my Chinese mother (87) who was damaging my other cookware with high heat on a gas range (burnt exteriors, destroyed nonstick coating, melted handles, left empty on flame...).  This looks like it can take the heat - it doesn't matter how many times I tell her not to use the highest setting...

If she burns the nonstick coating out of this, I'll probably get her a steel wok - at least the handle won't melt.

Great buy

It is heavy. My old wok had a  short handhold opposite the handle to steady the wok when dishing up food..  I really wish this heavyweight wok had one for ease of serving up food.

This Stir-Fry Pan/WOK exceeded my expectations!  It's heavy and just the right size for my needs.  ‘Can be placed in the dishwasher and even the oven.  It's special!

I ordered this for a gift %26 found out they already  have a Wok, I kept it for myself %26 made stir fry in it last night..It's a perfect size with a lid too.…easy clean up %26  very reasonably priced…just love it…

Perfect size and enhanced bottom cooks without burning. Fantastic to have a lid!

The vessel wasn't as deep as I would have preferred. I would order the 12 inch next time. Unless you're opening an Asian cafe,   it does what it should at the right price.
