I bought a set of four CS5 Touring for my 2008 Buick Lucerne when it had 222,000 miles on it. I have them rotated & balanced every 6,000 miles. I had them rotated & balanced last week. The car now has over 285,000 miles on it & the tires still have 7/32” tread depth. I'm VERY pleased. They're also very quiet, even on ground-up road surfaces being prepared for re-paving. I've had several sets of Michelin tires. A set of Michelin Destiny lasted >96,000. These Coopers might also reach that. Also, ALL Cooper Tires are made in the USA! One more note about the traction: last week, I was driving about 60 MPH by a truck stop. A pickup truck pulled out in front of me. I braked HARD, letting ABS take over. My Cooper Tires with over 62,000 miles stood the car on its nose & cleared everything off the seats. I trust them, PERIOD!

I got these for 2012 300 I have to say this was the best tire. I had 71000 miles on them before they were 2/32. I now have coopers on my truck and camaro. They never leaked unless a puncture, but I have nothing bad to say about them. I am a cooper tire guy from now on. Never had a tire last the mileage stated. A+++++ cooper.

Put a set on my Vibe before the engine went and with through the trouble f hauling all 4 on the Vibe's rims to swap them over to the Focus that replaced the Vibe. Now have these CS5s on my Chrysler 200, Jeep Liberty, and now going to put one on the back tire of my Slingshot. Until Cooper Tires makes a better CS model tire I will not spend money on any other tire. Just about any tire will grip the road when its dry, when the roads are wet these CS5s grab the road. To me a tire that agressively grips a wet road cannot be beat with a dry noodle.

Once you drive with these you wont go back

Have had two sets of the CS4 on a 2007 Jetta and got 60,000 miles out of each set ! I have the CS5 on the 2008 Jetta and the are just as good and will go 60,000 miles as well !
Just put a set on the company's 2008 Focus and it was like night and day from the OEM equipped Hankooks.
Will be replacing the Michelins on the 2015 Ford Escape that are worn out at 25,000 miles

Best tire I have ever had !!

Every other set of new tires I have ever bought in my life started out riding the smoothest,and got rougher every month.So far these have done just the opposite.On day one I could feel every little bump.Felt like driving an old leaf spring truck.At 2,700mi the ride is still harder than I would like, but improving every week.The handling and cornering in dry and wet weather has been exceptional,so by the time that the mileage was reached that I could still exchange them occurred,since the ride quality kept improving, I have decided to keep them.It will be interesting to experience them for the duration,and see how long they will last.I wonder if at some point they might get noisy or start to ride rougher again.THEY DO PERFORM OUTSTANDING IN BOTH DRY AND WET WEATHER.My car has a sport suspension and I occasionally test the performance limits,and the CS5's have always impressed me. PS--- Before buying, I could not find any reviews for this particular Cooper Tire...

Bad first impression,better every day.

I have bought 4 complete sets of this tire. I have them on all four cars. They are quite and have great traction in dry, wet and light snow. I would recommend these Cooper Ultra Touring CS5 to my friends and family. For me it is the only tire I put on my vehicles.

Great tires!

First put them on a Saab 9-5 which logs 700+ highway miles a week. I live in Fl and wet weather traction is great. No experience in any snow conditions. Tires have 30k miles and are wearing well and even. Appear to be good for another 10k miles. Ride and Handling are very good. A bit noisy at low speeds but I maybe picky, Very happy and have since added another set to my wife's Hyundai Genesis. Highly recomended.

A great alternative to the big names

I purchased a set of four Cooper CS5 Ultra Touring tires in 235/55R17 99V for my 2003 Buick Park Avenue Ultra, which replaced a set of Michelin Primacy MXM4 tires. The Coopers have impressed me -- they track well, and the ride is smooth, even, and well-controlled. They are very quite tires, though not as quite as the Michelins were. They only downside is they seem to wear a bit faster, as I've lost 3/32" in only 10,000 miles, all highway driving. Still, at less than half the price of the Michelins, I think it's a great deal, and I think they handle better in wet weather than the Primacys. Highly recommended.

Excellent wet and dry handling, average wear.

I just rotated my tires and what a surprise. These tires are wore out. I use to get 44-50,000 miles on the CR4's and they discontinued them. 
I then put on the Zeon's they went 16,000 miles. 
I was told by my garage the Zeons were not even rated for my Maxima. However they are still on Coopers suggested tire list. 
These CS5's went 21773 miles . I told my wife if she drove her car we would have to change tires once a year. She puts on 10,000 miles a year and i had the car aligned and i rotate the tires. They don't wear unevenly THEY WEAR OUT. Apparently all that friction sitting in the garage. So if you are looking for a good tire I already did the testing for you. Don't buy these. Trust me I have all of the records and take my word for it. I care, otherwise I wouldn't take all this time to warn you.

1/2 the miles of the CR4's

I drive a '14 Ford Fusion SE, 90% highway driving. Rotated every 7.5K miles and evenly bald after 44K miles. Would never get 70K which was the main reason why I bought them. After about 5K miles, these tires became super loud as well.

After reading all the reviews, I see many Fusion owners are having the same issue. Will not buy these again for sure.
