I purchased these tires about 18 months ago, and have since put almost 30,000 miles on them. I am still showing just 25% wear according to the wear square. I love these tires on dry pavement, but they really shine in the rain on wet pavement. I keep them properly inflated and rotate them every 5000 miles. Only gripe is they aren't the best tire in the snow, but they still did a great job. Overall, fantastic tire. Keep up the good work Cooper!

Favorite passenger car tire I've ever owned

I own a 2012 Ford Taurus with 117,000 miles on it and love the car. I was just finishing off my second set of Goodyear's which I found to be adequate but was unsure what tires I was going to buy next I know it wasn't going to be Goodyear's. I did a considerable amount of research before going with the Cooper CS5 Ultras, but when I drove my car for the first time with the new Coopers, what a difference in ride and handling. I HIGHLY recommend theses tires !!!!!

Awesome Tires

I've been very satisfied with these tires. In the first 75,000 miles that I put on my 2013 Explorer, it had the original Michelins. I opted for the Coopers for the competitive price. Having put over 60k on these tires in barely over 24 months, I'm planning on getting another set before the worst of the New England winter sets in. I couldn't be happier with the performance of these tires. At over 2,500 miles per month, they maintained even tread wear AND remained quiet on the highway.

60,000 Miles and counting

I purchased a set of four Cooper CS5 Ultra Touring tires in 235/55R17 99V for my 2003 Buick Park Avenue Ultra, which replaced a set of Michelin Primacy MXM4 tires. The Coopers have impressed me -- they track well, and the ride is smooth, even, and well-controlled. They are very quite tires, though not as quite as the Michelins were. They only downside is they seem to wear a bit faster, as I've lost 3/32" in only 10,000 miles, all highway driving. Still, at less than half the price of the Michelins, I think it's a great deal, and I think they handle better in wet weather than the Primacys. Highly recommended.

Excellent wet and dry handling, average wear.

I've had these on my Chevy Cruze for about 11 months. They provide a quiet and comfortable ride. The wear appears to be pretty good so far on all four tires after about 14,000 miles. My only gripe is they felt a little more loose on lane-change maneuvers than the stock Goodyears that came with the car. Overall I prefer the Coopers.

Good all-season performance, quiet ride

This tire has good snow traction, rides very smooth and quiet but I think the mileage rating is over estimated. I never got more than 45,000 good miles out of this tire or the CS4. I drive an economy car moderately and try to achieve good gas mileage and hoped for good tire wear. I have not gotten it from this tire.

Well designed tire

The tires ride good, are good in all weather but they don't last. I only have 22000 miles on them and they are at 3/32. They where rotated every 5000 miles and inflation was regularly checked. I've been buying cooper tires for over 20 years and been getting less wear out of them. Time to switch to a different brand.

Don't last

I bought these tires last summer, I have 15,000 miles on them and they roar. I drive a car and it sounds like I have a truck with huge mud tires. They have been rotated and balanced every 5,000 miles and there is no visible wear. It sounds like they are out of balance but the dealer says they are good.

Loud roar

Had 255/65R18's installed on a 2015 Chevy Traverse in mid 2017. The tire does ride nice, handles well and is quiet. Have driven in all seasons, in all kinds of weather conditions and in multiple states. Tires were rotated regularly and show no signs of uneven wear. However, they are down to the wear bars at 30K miles!

Worn Out At 30K

I just rotated my tires and what a surprise. These tires are wore out. I use to get 44-50,000 miles on the CR4's and they discontinued them. 
I then put on the Zeon's they went 16,000 miles. 
I was told by my garage the Zeons were not even rated for my Maxima. However they are still on Coopers suggested tire list. 
These CS5's went 21773 miles . I told my wife if she drove her car we would have to change tires once a year. She puts on 10,000 miles a year and i had the car aligned and i rotate the tires. They don't wear unevenly THEY WEAR OUT. Apparently all that friction sitting in the garage. So if you are looking for a good tire I already did the testing for you. Don't buy these. Trust me I have all of the records and take my word for it. I care, otherwise I wouldn't take all this time to warn you.
