Cooper Tires

I purchased these tires about 18 months ago, and have since put almost 30,000 miles on them. I am still showing just 25% wear according to the wear square. I love these tires on dry pavement, but they really shine in the rain on wet pavement. I keep them properly inflated and rotate them every 5000 miles. Only gripe is they aren't the best tire in the snow, but they still did a great job. Overall, fantastic tire. Keep up the good work Cooper!

Favorite passenger car tire I've ever owned

Every other set of new tires I have ever bought in my life started out riding the smoothest,and got rougher every month.So far these have done just the opposite.On day one I could feel every little bump.Felt like driving an old leaf spring truck.At 2,700mi the ride is still harder than I would like, but improving every week.The handling and cornering in dry and wet weather has been exceptional,so by the time that the mileage was reached that I could still exchange them occurred,since the ride quality kept improving, I have decided to keep them.It will be interesting to experience them for the duration,and see how long they will last.I wonder if at some point they might get noisy or start to ride rougher again.THEY DO PERFORM OUTSTANDING IN BOTH DRY AND WET WEATHER.My car has a sport suspension and I occasionally test the performance limits,and the CS5's have always impressed me. PS--- Before buying, I could not find any reviews for this particular Cooper Tire...

Bad first impression,better every day.

I put these on my 2005 Mercedes Benz C230 and so far I am very impressed. They are extremely quiet and smooth at highway speeds. The Ultra Touring replaced Continental Extreme Contact DWS 06 and so far they are much more comfortable and responsive at nearly half the price. I am very impressed thus far....

Smooth quiet ride

Purchased a set for a 2007 Mazda 5. Smooth ride even on a low profile tire. Hugs the road when pushed. In winter, I often pass cars with snow tires on. Liked them so much, put a set on my wife's 2006 Saturn Ion. Same results. Quiet ride and long wear life. Impressive tire.

Best all-round tire I have found

Put a set of these on my older daughters Ford Focus and liked them so much that we put a set on our younger daughters Saturn. Very happy to see that these will fit our Ford Explorer 255x50x20's.. These
will go on next week. Great ride, very quiet, and a good price.

Great Tires!

Tire needs about 1,000 miles before it settles down and rides smoothly. It is a great tire for the money. Always ran Michelin but they have gotten too pricey. Tires are showing little wear after 30,000 miles. Rotate every 5,000 miles.

Discount Tire Direct had an attractive discount and coupled with manufacturer rebate it was a "no brainer".!

Great tire for the money

First put them on a Saab 9-5 which logs 700+ highway miles a week. I live in Fl and wet weather traction is great. No experience in any snow conditions. Tires have 30k miles and are wearing well and even. Appear to be good for another 10k miles. Ride and Handling are very good. A bit noisy at low speeds but I maybe picky, Very happy and have since added another set to my wife's Hyundai Genesis. Highly recomended.

A great alternative to the big names

After 3000 miles up and down the Pacific coast, my CS5 Ultras surpassed my expectations! They re on a Hyundai sedan which is not the best handling . The Ultras improved handling, braking and most of all a new quieter, smoother ride. They were not the most popular but I'm pleased with the lower price compared to other 19" tires which I'm my opinion compete with the big popular 3.
So when I'm the market for tires definitely give the American COOPER Tires a chance to take you on your next driving experience!

Big bang for your buck!!

We got these mounted on our 2017 Ford Escape AWD right around a year ago as the first set of post-stock tires on the car. We rack up the miles quickly, and have rotated them every 5K with each oil change. After about the 3rd rotation we noticed that the tires became progressively louder to where the noise is almost unbearable, and they get louder with each rotation. Now, at 30,000 miles we have to replace them. they've worn strangely unevenly and we just can't stand the road noise anymore. We bought them on the advice of some good reviews, but I think perhaps those reviews came early in other reviewers' use, and perhaps smaller vehicles. I won't buy another set.

Good at first

I drive a '14 Ford Fusion SE, 90% highway driving. Rotated every 7.5K miles and evenly bald after 44K miles. Would never get 70K which was the main reason why I bought them. After about 5K miles, these tires became super loud as well.

After reading all the reviews, I see many Fusion owners are having the same issue. Will not buy these again for sure.
