If you want a mean looking tire but you spend most of your time traveling long distances on Texas highways and you want a tough tire that will handle dirt muddy roads and occasionally the Texas snow winters than these are the tires. They advertise them as all seasons and not all terrain. They are super comfy on the highway but it does have a small howl to them when driving slow in the city and that's me coming from a highway tire. They look 10x more aggressive in person than these pics. Overall I love them because this is what trucks should come with stock. I haven't taken them to my usual fishing and camp spots but I'm sure they will fare very well. L

2017 F250 6.7 powerstroke. I do a lot of towing and off roading in this truck. I have always struggled to find a tire that was good on the highway and good off road. This tire meets all expectations. I have about 5K miles so far and they are wearing very evenly. I go to the Sand Dunes often and these have great traction in the sand. Quiet on the highway.

Best tire I have owned so far

I bought these a few months ago for my Tacoma 4x4.  Slight noise on the road but nothing annoying at all.  Off road they are excellent.  Hauling wood off road I can stay in 2 wheel drive without slipping where I previously needed 4 wheel drive on Goodyear Wrangler Trailrunner ATs.  Wet traction is also excellent on the road.  No snow experience as of yet, but the lug design and siping on this tire makes me think it will perform well.

Excellent all round

I'm running these on my 2017 Toyota Tacoma in a 285/70/17. I considered a lot of tires before I chose this set. So far, I'm impressed with the on-road and off-road performance. Additionally, they are relatively light, compared to other similarly styled tires.

Cooper! Please, please, please, offer more sizes in 16" and 17" and please make a C or D load. Particularly, a C-load or D-load in a 285/75/16 (33").

Great all round off-road/on-road tire

I've had these tires on my 2018 GMC Sierra for a few months (5000 miles). I haven't hydroplaned on wet roads and today was the chance I got to test them in snow. We had 1-2” accumulated on the ground and I had zero traction problems in hilly Pennsylvania. I was able to do normal highway speeds with zero slippage on turns, bridges, or hills to include the 11% up hill grade to my house. So far I am thoroughly impressed and will update if anything changes.

I put these in my F-150 about 2 months ago and I have been very happy with them. They offer great traction in snow, water and dry pavement and are pretty quiet for how aggressive they are. I really like the way they look and how they ride. I would definitely recommend them.

Great performing tire!

If you can find these buy them. I've been a Ram 1500 truck owner for over 20 years. Over that time frame and I've purchased Hankook, BFG's, Nitto and other Cooper models specifically designed for winter/deep tread traction for my trucks. The Rugged Treks are by far the most versatile tire you can own. Excellent traction on snow covered roads, slush/snow mix, ice/compacted snow mix and of course heavy rain. The rubber compound used in these tires allow for just the right amount of flex in cold temperatures which gives them bite in any condition. I'll use these tires for on/off road use as long as they are in production.

Best Tire I've used to date

Extremely happy with my new Rugged Trek tires on my 2013 Ram 1500.  Very smooth and quiet on the road, plus excellent wet weather traction.  Very strong off-highway results, too.  An all-around great tire, and I'm glad it was available in such an aggressive tread with a standard load-rating (most everything else is an E, which is not what I was looking for in my half ton truck).

Much quieter than you'd think!

Normally I wouldn't do a review this early on a new set of tires. But, being these are a new release from Cooper and seeing there are limited reviews, I wanted to get the word out about my early experience with them, with just a few hundred miles on them. I could not give them a 5-star rating yet for durability or treadwear because I have limited miles on them, but I'll update this at a later date. My set is a 35x12.50R20 (12-ply) and they are extremely aggressive for an AT/hybrid tire. And much to my surprise, they are whisper quiet regardless of the speed I'm driving. I've yet to see a tire this aggressive, with such spacing between the tread blocks, that exhibits such little road noise. Initially this 12-ply set rode a slight bit firmer when ran at the same air pressure as my previous 10-ply set. But after reducing tire pressure by about 5 more PSI, these tires ride and handle great. They are actually smoother than my previous 10-ply tires (Toyo AT II Extreme, which were also noisier when new and didn't have as good of traction).  These Rugged Trek tires have very deep lugs and have large separation between even the center tread blocks, which makes for outstanding traction. I was skeptical in reading about Cooper's "whisper grooves", but apparently they really do work because these tires are exceptionally quiet. The sidewall designs are aggressive and attractive (both sides) but yet aren't over-the-top aggressive, which allows for easier cleaning when you're done with your dirty work. Traction so far is outstanding, though I've not had the opportunity yet to test them in deep snow or mud. It's also surprising to me these aggressive tires carry a substantial mileage warranty. For someone like me who's truck is an every day driver, this is the most balanced tire I've owned so far for traction, ride comfort, road noise and appearance. As long as they wear well, this will be my new "go-to" tire. I am very confident these tires will become very popular in the near future, especially as Cooper expands the tire sizes available in this model, and as more people are looking for an aggressive all-purpose tire that can handle a tough weekend in the mountains while still providing everyday livability when commuting back and forth to work. Well done Cooper, well done!

Outstanding Tires - Extremely Quiet

Tires look great and hold air…that's where the good seemed to end.  

Initially, they were quiet, with the noise increasing to the point I'm taking them off after 10k miles.  As loud or louder than a traditional worn mud terrain.  In addition, I had problems with cupping even with frequent rotation.  

Snow traction was great with confident and expected ice traction.  

Seems hot if miss with Cooper.
