I ordered this and a desk to match.  This came in on time as promised.  When the desk finally came,  it matched 100% prefect! I'm so happy with the products.  My husband loved it all.  We saved $200 by going with Walmart,  office stores were asking alot higher prices for the same things.

The directions on assembly are incorrect on the draw racks...Who ever you used to ship this product they delivered it to someone place else; not to me...Lucky for me it happened to be a local fire fighter that brought it to me...Once I tore it apart and assembled it correctly the drawers slide nicely. The plastic for the folders can only hold 25 pounds each, so I would consider metal ones, especially since the price was too much based on the product...sorry to be negative, but you wanted my opinion.

assembly directions are wrong

This is a nice basic file cabinet. It looks great & was fairly easy to put together. I thought it came put together (must have missed that in the ad). I was disappointed with the size (height) of the drawers. My tabs from my files rub on the drawer above causing them to flop around a bit. It's not a problem if you do not use tabs for your files but unfortunately I do use tabs. One other thing I do not like is it tips forward & starts to tip over if I pull out the top drawer (full of files) too far.

Nice cabinet for the money

Overall is good, price is good and the look is good. the only problem that got me frustrated is that the taps of the folders get stuck because it is not high enough... i mean it closes but with difficultities and it is a bit anoying......... still i dont open a lot the files drawer so i dont care a lot....

All good except it is not high enough for the tabs

Cabinet was a little smaller than I expected and the drawers were only black on its face otherwise a lite brown. The assembly instructions were clear and easy to read. The parts came with marks indicating where the screws are to be placed, but the drawers were a little off and not straight which prevented easy opening of the lower drawer.

File Cabinet, Black Ebony Ash

This file cabinet is very small compared to the other filing cabinets we have owned. It does not even hold a hanging file with a tab on top of it. The tabs get crunched/scrunched on their way in the drawer. They do not fit. We were so disappointed, as we loved the look of it in our office.

Did not meet expectations

I should have paid attention to the dimensions because it is rather small. Almost too small for the files with tabs to fit in and still be able to open and close the drawers. It isn't very deep either. It doesn't hold as many files as my old standard metal file cabinet.

Purchased 2 of these cabinets.  The first fit well and looked great.  The second cabinet was all misaligned, drawers sit crooked and it looks horrible!  Wished I just purchased the metal file cabinets.

Not Square

I was looking for an economical option, but should have upgraded. This file cabinet was difficult and time-consuming to put together. That makes sense for the price, but the thing doesn't hold not al size files correctly! There isn't enough space for tabs on hanging files to fit and everything bunches up. I would not recommend this product.

Should have upgraded

I can put hanging folders in the drawers but cannot use tabbed folders because they don't fit. We checked to see if it was put together wrong but can't see that we did, so this seems like it isn't a filing cabinet, it is more for storage.
