I absolutely love Corelle dishes! I love that they are lightweight and difficult to break, which is perfect for a house full of kids! I recently purchased these after finding out that they do not contain LEAD. All of the older corelle dishes (the ones I had previously been using) DO contain lead, which is dangerous, especially for children. I switched to these and love the look and feel. They feel exactly the same as the older corelle dishes, but are safe to eat from! I would recommend this set to anyone with kids, as my kids regularly drop them almost every day and I've only had one break out of hundreds of drops! I'm giving 5 stars because if these would have arrived brand new, they would have been perfect. Unfortunately they arrived dirty with food, and already had scratches on several of the plates. That's not Corelle's fault, it was the fault of whoever used, damaged, and returned them! So I didn't want to deduct stars because of something that wasn't the manufacturer's fault.

I have been collecting Corelle for the last five years. I LOVE this brand. It's perfect for ALL occasions. I must say the best qualities are how thin and light but so durable that they are, I never rave this much about plates and bowls but this picture says it all. Hope this helps and God Bless.

BEST plates you will ever use

even filled up plates are not too heavy. dishwasher and microwave safe. looks nice and are hard to break! unlike other types of plates these dont have toxins and dont stain with repeated use. I have used correlle ware since the 70's and never had to replace any of it until I hired professional movers! they managed to break several plates.

We like these simple plates for everyday use. Lightweight, easy to clean and handle. Especially when you want your children to set the table and wash dishes 😈

Perfect everyday plates

I love these plain white plates. I needed extras, so I ordered 6 more, so I wouldn't have to run the dishwasher so often. They are so durable. My other ones have never chipped or cracked. They are also reasonably priced. Love them.

Great product!

I prefer Corelle dishes bc they can be used in the oven to keep your dinner %26 food items warm as the rest of the meal is prepared without shattering like ceramic/porcelain and all other dishes. Walmart has the best price that I found. 

However, Corelle is changing over the yrs. These dishes are the exact same Livingware Winter Frost White design that I already have from a decade ago (and ones from my grandmother if you can believe that!) And the size is smaller in diameter to the dishes I purchased about 10 yrs ago. But they hold up, don't break easily %26 can be used in the oven. But they are skimping on product size (shame on you Corelle). Hope these hold up like my past dishes or back they will go!

Love Corelle Oven-Safe Dishes but the size smaller

i bought Corelle Winter Frost White, Round Dinner Plate, Set of 6. they say triple-layer-strong glass highly resists chips and cracks. but one of the 6 was chipped and they feel very cheap and they feel like they would break easily .   who will replace it ? walmart or corelle ?

Corelle is a good product, but I was disappointed that one of the dishes came chipped. I didn't want to bother with the hassle of a return so I'll just make do with 5 plates instead of 6.  The plates should be packed better. They are packed in the box with 3 plates facing out and the other 3 plates facing out.  Unfortunately, there is no protection between the plates.

Was super excited to get these but all of them have some weird metallic residue on them that no amount of cleaner will get off. Have to return.
