These plates are made of special glass that is shadow resistant. I have dropped them from three or 4 feet off of the ground onto hardwood and they did not break. The thing I like most about them is that they are so thin that they are very lightweight. You don't feel like you're carrying a 6 pound ceramic plate around, but it still feels sturdy and you can cut steak on it, etc.

The plates are great.  Light weight, good size, durable, and they don't take much space when stacked.  Best price I could find online. Shipping was an issue, as they were  not packed well, and 2 of the plates were shattered upon arrival.

Great plates, poor packing/shipping.

I grew up using the Corelle brand so it was a no brainer to purchase these for my household. I ordered 2 sets of 6. Of the 12 plates only one plate came with defects. I reached out to Corelle about the issue and are waiting for response. I will update my rating when they reach out. 😊

I recommend getting them.

They're certainly not fine china! But they can take a beating. Haven't broken one yet! Even though they're quite thin. Still they could look better. And the way they stack is blah. Love that they're made in USA.

Durable

I have only used these plates a few times and one already broke. It wasn't even dropped! It was stacked on the counter and just split apart when picked up. I have used Corelle dishes for many years

Disappointed

ordered these to add to the ones we already have. shipped fast but one plate had a chip in it. not sure how to return just the one plate since they was a set

one chipped plate

1 plate came chipped out of the box which is disappointing since the reason I chose these plates it their supposed ability to withstand chips and breaks. Other 5 plates were nice which is why I still gave 3 stars

Already chipped

This order was supposed to be an order of 6 plates, I only received 4 plates. The plates were put in a box with torn pieces of paper towel, like what you might see from a continuous paper towel roll that goes into a commercial dispenser, to separate the plates. If this was a gift, I would have been humiliated! Walmart can do better than this!!
On a positive note, customer service offered to resend the item.

Very poor packaging! One plate completely broken! Corelle makes a good plate but it's not unbreakable. If there is a future purchase, I will just go to the store in person.

Dissatisfied

I ordered for a set of 6, but got only 5 of them. Plates are good, got all 5 plates safe %26 in good shape.. but where is 1 plate?
