Dishes arrived broken, which speaks to their durability.  The unique design of the coating may be their way to explain why nothing matches. I purchased 2 sets of these dishes, not one bowl - one plate or one tumbler match.  All different shades of blue, some have the reactive glaze and some don't.  I chose Corelle because of their quality.  It was not here this time.  What I have instead of a fantastic new dinnerware set is an embarassing mission match of plates.
