I have not used the product yet, but it is just like my old one I have and it being Corning Ware I know that it will be perfect.  The only thing that I felt was a little high was the price.  Otherwise, I would recommend it highly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am really enjoying this mug! I recently used it to warm up soup in the microwave, but i can see myself using it for eggs in the oven, individual cake, or even cereal! The venting lid is a nice feature for covering ti microwave and to carry it around.

My only complaint is the venting piece. It is hard to open and it either all comes off, or it only slides a little to the left or right to vent.

Otherwise it is a great mug that I will continue to use.

Perfect All Purpose Mug

While quality has declined on nearly everything these days, Corningware is still the same excellent quality - these meal mugs are no exception. They're made like little tanks and I expect they'll last a lifetime.

Old school quality

Gave to a friend who broke her last soup mug right before Christmas. She loves it.

Love these mugs, perfect for oven, microwave, freezer and storing leftovers for next meals!!

Good size and solid design. The kid is a bit thick and stiff, takes some effort to remove.

Price is amazing these retail in US stores for 12.99 and up. Product hold a full can of soup microwave and dishwasher safe. Very durable

Amazing Meal Mug

Absolutely an amazing steamer mug. Bought two of them at the advice of a long time Batchelor. Use it to heat frozen vegetables in the microwave in minutes without having to clean a pot and strainer. For a single person this is invaluable.

Invaluable for a single person

The lid doesn't engage positively in place, and it stained permanently on first use (tomato-based soup). Worst part though is that when you hold it by the handle, the mug isn't level, it tips downward away from the handle. The handle could've been shaped differently to prevent this. Fortunately it fits an entire can of chunky soup.

It's ok

Both mugs were broken when I opened the box in the store itself. Both handles were broken, and the cups themselves were chipped in two places.
