Quality

Lid's lack of thickness makes it prone to breakage.

Has a visually appealing and modern look.

had one of these for years, broke it and absolutely had to have a replacement. love it, having the handles is a very good thing. received itb on record time.

This 2 1/2 quart casserole dish is perfect for chicken casserole or mac %26 cheese for the family. I like the quality and size but it was a little bit pricey compared to a previous one I had bought.

Very nice product ... I've already used it a lot. It is a little heavy, but quality is certainly there. The lid stays securely on top ... no issues seem when baking. The lid is glass ... so one must be careful but also I noted you can buy lid replacements. Also, cleans up especially well - I do manual wash and no problem with getting clean. Also, comes in nice - properly wrapped box - very securely sent to insure no breakage.

Very nice quality product

Very nice product, I have had these products in hand for 50 years and I love them

Excellent product

This is a great price to add to my food serving dishes. Looks classy yet simple. Nice size option for dinner sides. Love the lid too to keep temperature.

White serving dish

This item is pretty & functional. I bought it to replace my 32 year old Corningware baking dish but it is no where near as good as the good old pieces were. This can only be used in microwave or oven, you have to be careful that it's not cold when putting into the oven for fear of breakage. The lid is a bit more fragile than I am comfortable with. However, I don't mean to be completely negative. It is def a pretty piece of cookware, works well in the oven & microwave, I just find that I have to be a lot more careful than I am used to being.

A pretty piece

Love the shape. Also the built in handles are great. Looks very nice on table or counter. I am concerned about the lid. There is nothing to protect the edge of the lid. Its very thin. Im afraid it will chip very easily. I wish it had a band of something to protect the edge. Overall I would buy again.

Very Nice

I have been waiting for Corning to make a casserole with handles, ever since they retired the blue cornflower model that I was raised on. Yay!! I bought the set (1.5 and 2.5 quart) for my daughter, and she was thrilled. While the handles are not big enough for an oven mitt to go through, they appear to give enough stability so you don't get scared to pull it out of the oven. The lids are quite thin in appearance, with no support ring on the circumference, but I trust that Corning wouldn't put out an inferior glass lid that would put the user in increased danger of broken glass. Overall, I am very happy with the purchase. The price was extremely reasonable, compared to the "celebrity chef" models available on the market. Happy Cooking!

Finally, a Casserole with HANDLES!

The glass lid is a cheap thin piece of glass with a plastic handle. It doesn't even look like it goes with the dish.

This dish is beautiful to look at but the handles are very thing and not at all useful. I had the dish for just a few hours when I washed the dish and one handle broke. If the handle was located a little further down on the dish and the opening were wider with added clay to strengthen the handles...it would be a much better product. As it is designed, the handles are useless. There is no purpose because they are not open enough to put a finger in and very fragile to support the weight of the dish.

Handles are not made to use and are too fragile.
