[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not a gamer, but Corsair K70 Lux Mechanical Gaming Keyboard is truly AWESOME! I have grown accustomed to the cheap plastic keyboards that come with most PCs these days, so I had forgotten what a high quality keyboard feels like. The look and feel of this keyboard brought me back to the "good old days" of the IBM PC/XT/AT, which had rugged and durable keyboards with mechanical keys, that make a "clack" sound when pressed. 

At first glance, the The keyboard appears to be very rugged and high quality. It is all black with an anodized brushed aluminum back plate. Even the space bar has a diamond-plate texture, adding to the rugged look. The USB cable is reinforced and appears to be indestructible. While intended for gaming, the keyboard has a professional look that would not look out of place in the office. The red lighting on the keys is a nice feature making it easy to use in a dark area. The brightness can also be adjusted to suite the user's preference. 

The keyboard is very ergonomic and comfortable to use. It comes with a soft-touch textured wrist rest that keeps the hands at the ideal neutral position. The USB cable has two connectors, requiring two USB ports on your computer, but it does provide a USB port on the back of the keyboard for connecting a mouse or other peripherals.

In summary, I am very impressed with this keyboard and intend to use it every day. All pros and no cons.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like the looks of this Corsair K70 LUX Mechanical Keyboard. When I took it out of the box I was so surprised at how heavy it was. It is very sturdy and seems like it is almost indestructible. I guess this goes along with what it was developed for. Gaming is not typical keyboarding. Gaming is fast and it is impossible to gently press the keys as you play. This keyboard is strong. It is built for hard and fast hitting of the keys. It has a soft touch wrist rest that is detachable. The USB pass-through and bios mode plus polling rate selector works beautifully. The programming is very easy to use with the ability to assign macros to any key. You can set up per-key backlighting with ten light levels. I love the cherry red backlighting. It is so cool looking to play games on this. It blows my mind at how much this keyboard adds to gaming from my old standard keyboard that I have been using. Everything is quick response and there is no ghosting with full key rollover on USB. It truly is an amazing keyboard for anyone wanting to have a great experience with PC gaming. The looks alone are worth getting this for.

Awesome gaming keyboard

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Corsair K70 Lux is a fast responsive mechanical keyboard great for anyone who is looking for a quality keyboard. This keyboard is much like the Corsair Strafe, minus the ability to change the keyboard colors. You are still able to change the "shade" of red on this one. (Really it's the brightness/dimness you changing.) It uses the same interface and has the same light patterns and macro abilities available to you. The keyboard also comes with the textured keys to swap out. However this did cause the key responsiveness to somewhat "stick" in some games. I'm not sure if it was the key swap or it's the keyboard itself. (Thus the reason for 4 stars.) I do like it's sleek look. The keys are mechanical and give good pushback and feedback while playing. If you are looking for a fast responsive mechanical keyboard without wanting all the crazy colors, then this is the keyboard for you. I'm including the YouTube link for the Corsair Strafe interface. The Corsair Lux uses the same exact one but all in shades of red.
