I really like this umbrella but the part that cantilevers the umbrella is made out of some kind of heavy duty plastic. I wish it were made out of metal. Mine broke the first time I opened it up, which is the reason for the 4-star rating.  That being said, I contacted Costway which is the company that makes these umbrellas. I sent pics via email Within 24 hrs Walmart customer support emailed me. Without hesitation, Lacey apologized for the problem with the umbrella and asked if I wanted a full refund or a new replacement umbrella. She informed me of the wait time to receive another umbrella and asked what I wanted to do. I am impressed with the speed of the customer service to resolve this matter. I chose a new one because I really wanted the umbrella. I haven't received the new one yet, but I knew it would take a while to come in. I know this is a really long review but I didn't want to just complain without giving Walmart the praise they deserve. I order a lot from Walmart. I've had a couple of issues with a few items before and I have ALWAYS had a swift resolution from Walmart customer service. Thanks to the wonderful customer service department at Walmart. I will continue to be a frequent customer of yours!! The 4 stars is for the product not Walmart!!

Broken umbrella, wonderful customer service!!

The umbrella is no e and easy to put together, but the lights don't work and the wire connection was separated from solar panel. Oh, and it wo t stand up uess it's closed. So, because of the hassle of sending it back, I ordered a weighted base and I'm going without lights. If you order, check the wiring before assembly and before taking everything out of the box.

My umbrella is useless 
the cross stand is not working , When cranked out , it becomes top heavy and falls over .
What do I need to do ? 
It never suggested that I needed weights for this type of stand .

This umbrella is very awkward and off balance and the lights never worked. Too big and too much trouble to send back. Wasted money. I could have spent alot less money for an umbrella that stood on its own and didn't have lights…
