The solar panel is working good. This umbrella is not only for day use but at night too. Its very cozy at night  & useful. We've already used for my night party! It's been my favorite umbrella so far! Even my neighbors thinks its beautiful at night & wanted to buy one now!

Love the solar lights and look of this umbrella.  The cost is amazing

Beautiful umbrella at a GREAT PRICE

I bought this to replace an old and fading IKEA umbrella and this one is preferable. Very solidly built, with a couple of nice features - the LED lights, which are effective at night without being too bright, and straps to keep it neat when down. There's also a small strap to keep it near the pole when up - useful when windy. For some reason, this brown one was more expensive, but the colour is perfect for our decor.

Perfect offset umbrella

Great umbrella for the cost.  It doesn't tilt so it's either up or down and it needs a base.  You cannot put it up without purchasing a base to hold it in place.  It will just tip over.

Great value for this umbrella

The Umbrella is great and we love the solar lights. The base needs to be screwed down on someone because the base is not heavy enough to stop the umbrella from tipping over with strong wind. we purchased a half barrel, screwed unbrella legs to the bottom of the barrel then added sand to make the base heavy enough not to blow away.

The umbrella is nice but it does not stand on its own. The description online is very deceiving as it states that weight is optional for stability. It's mandatory. This umbrella will not stand without a weighted bottom. You will have to purchase it separately.

Deceiving online description

ive built a concrete base and then bolted the footing to it. To days later, i came home, and the umbrella was on the ground.
it was left open for about 1 hour, and the pole fell off from the base. the foot is well bolted on it concrete base, while the pole with the umbrella is on the ground.

The umbrella is pretty, but the top is so heavy that it falls over easily.  The base is not heavy enough to hold the top, and the feet bend easily.  You can't keep the umbrella open without it falling unless you have a heavy bag on the base.

pretty but not sturdy

Not stable. Poor quality in the design. I had to buy additional water base becasue it would not stay up. Even those don't work well for it. 
Asked for a refund to return and was denied.

i really loved it at 1st but the smallest gust of wind pretty much blew it over and snapped the bracket at the bottom of the umbrella i do miss the shade it created and aslo the lights were very interesting would be alot nicer if the foot brackets where just a stronger matterial.
