I absolutely LOVE mine. I use two 48 oz bottles of cooking oil  to meet the maximum line without going over it and is heated very quickly. The timer helps me remember to check the food because I'm typically completing tasks of the day. So far I've fried chicken, fish and fries in it and everything turned out absolutely delicious and picture perfect. Plus the price ($34.99) can't be beaten for its size and the amount of food that can be prepared at once. I wouldn't trade it for any other deep fryer because this one is amazing!

catch and grease

I bought the t-fal that had a blower with a filter, paid 3 times more than costway. It was junk, could not hold temp., too big, the only thing nice about it was the air filter. I used the costway on a ice fishing trip with 12 guys there. I cooked up a bunch of smelt that i caught the spring before. I couldn't be happier.

Worth it

I don't deep fry often so this appliance is perfect for me. It doesn't get very hot, so you have to fry a little bit longer, which is fine for my use (once a month) and it is compact; doesn't take up much space. The purchase is 100% justified.

Easy to assemble and the instructions were easy to read.  The unit functioned flawlessly.  It kept proper oil temperature, and the basket came in real handy.  My only knock on this unit is that it's flimsy.  Due to the low cost of the unit, the outer shell is one piece of tin.  I would prefer that the construction was a bit more robust.  Other than that, this fryer works well with shrimp and fish fillet.  The controls are easy to use as well.

Great fryer for small portions

I love the fryer because it has a top on it. No mess to clean up from excessive splatter! It is easy to operate. It has a timer. The slim design does not take up a lot of space.

Great value for the money!

i hate that it doesnt have the temp for items so u turn to that n let it heat up and i dislike the auto shut off timer on it. i have to keep resetting it to get my food to the point where i prefer it. all my others worked so much better. i hate having to r

well the first time I tried it light never came on but kinda blamed it on myself maybe not being patient. Today I decided to try it again and nothing. No light oil never got hot and I am a lil irritated with myself and the product not working. Not sure if I can return.

This fryer is the most dumbest and backwards thing I've ever seen. Why does the timer have to be on when not cooking just so the temperature turns on, the timer is for cooking. smh.

There is one thing very wrong with this fryer. There is nothing between the base of the oil basket and your kitchen counter except mayve a 1/8" empty space. The heat will damage your counter. 
The rest of the fryer is good for the price.
