the hardest one was the first one but after you got used to building them they got progressively easy they tend to be firm and solid

good wooden chairs

These chairs are a cost effective option to replacing old chairs. My table is rock solid but the original chairs were destroyed through everyday use. I just need some matching chairs to get me through the next few years and these fit the bill. Yes they require assembly. Yes it takes some effort. I would not use these chairs for larger folks over 6ft and 220lbs. My sons and I both fit this criteria so they are not as comfortable as our old ones. The customer service from Costway is top notch. Like other reviewers the packages were missing a critical piece. They shipped new hardware to me very quickly. This is why Im giving 4 stars. I would given 5 if all the pieces showed up.

Great product

The assembly was a bit difficult for one person to do. I had to help my husband when doing the back part. The size of the seat is a little small. Meaning it hits my under thigh short and after a while its uncomfortable. However, I'm sure if I got seat cushions, it would be fine. All and all, I do like the chairs.

Exactly as shown

Sturdy comfortable chairs but they required assembly and one of them broke while being put together. We contacted the company and they said they would replace the broken part but it has not yet arrived. I wasnt expecting to have to assemble the chairs and I really didn't expect to get a broken chair. That is why I gave it less stars.

Good chairs but require assembly and one broke

Very difficult to put together. The directions are hard to understand especially if you don't know what your doing!

We purchased 4 of these chairs. We were missing hardware: spring washers (4) and JCBCW Screw (1). The chairs parts did not line up correctly and the backrests on two chairs would not tighten down flush with the seat. I sent an email to the company.
I only gave it a 2 stars because I love the color of the chairs.

NOT HAPPY

The order was shipped minus 2 chairs and they will not replace or issue a refund

Bought 2 sets of 2 chairs each and out of 4 chairs only 1 chair was good. The other were poor construction.... wobbly, crooked and legs were not prepared properly. Yes you had to assemble the chairs but everything was predrilled so no possible error on my assembly skills.... would never buy again

Poor quality

Extremely uncomfortable and cheap. Poorly made, purchased less than a year ago and already 2 out of the 4 chairs broke. Bought seat cushions to make them more comfortable but the seat cushions don't fit on the chair. The seats of the chairs were designed very narrow and petite so most seat cushions are too big or wide.

Not comfortable at all!!!
