Really nice trolling motor.  Have used it a few time and like the performance.  Seems to be really good using little battery life.  Been out for a few hours and battery meter still sitting on 9 out of 10. For information purposes I am also using a new deep cycle battery.

Pushed my 14ft. very good. I did change connectors to alligator clips for regular car battery !

Arrival was timely. The box was smashed up a bit,but thanks to the packaging, the contents were not damaged.
The propeller required installation. I thought I had it in correctly, but when I got to the lake, I discovered that the sheer pin was not seated correctly.  It made strange noises and had no propulsion .  Fortunately, a kind park ranger assisted me in repairing it.  Everything worked great from then on.  The 55lb thrust was wonderful in moving me back to the dock quickly.  Of course, the faster you go, the quicker you drain the battery
we spent 4 hours on the lake and had just enough battery to get back to the loading ramp.  Regular trolling at the slowest speed would have allowed us to fish till dark. It never hurts to carry an extra battery.  
It is easy to use and powerful and runs great. I would recommend it to my best friend.

Worked good at first, but as soon as the warranty runs out it started making noise. 8 months later I am ordering a name brand because it sounds like it is ready to lock up. I guess you get what tou pay for.

Right out of box, I put it on battery to test (with motor in a giant pool of water) before I take my small sailboat to lake. The motor worked for a few minutes. Then the throttle locked in the reverse and zero, but could not switch to forward. Without openning the top cover, I could not tell how the throttle switch got stuck.
