I smiled from the moment I opened the box for this fun little 6' unlit tinsel tree. (A pre-lit version is also available.) It was well-packaged and the branches and main trunk looked full. After an easy set-up thanks to the strong metal-on-metal hinged branches and quality metal tree stand, it already looked better than some pricier examples before "fluffing." After fluffing, it already looked nice even without lights or ornaments, and was not see-through as with some styles. The density of the branch tips is excellent, none pulled out (which I have experienced with pricier artificial trees), and needle drop was minimal for the initial set-up. Two pairs of gloves were included along with instructions. If one's budget doesn't extend to a vintage or high-end tinsel tree, this one is a great solution.

so nostalgic and festive

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture is misleading as I knew it would be. But, with a lot of time- consuming fluffing, it looks pretty ok; sparse, but ok. Load it up with lots of ornaments and it's a winner and very pretty. Do not put lights in it. They aren't to be used on tinsel trees. We bought a color wheel reminiscent of those from the 1960s but it doesn't illuminate the tree like we had hoped.

the bottom and middle fell in place fine but the top looked very tiny as if it really belonged to a very small tree , i had to return it !
