Can be effective, but inconsistent in performance.

I just bought this guy for Phoenix Summer to see if it can pay for itself in one season. The plan is to use the big ac to cool off house first, and then have this guy work in bedroom only for the night. So far, set up has been very easy. It blows cold air at around 40f with room temperature of 70. I will update this along as heat rolls in.

This ac is powerful! Keeps 3 big rooms cold, wasn't sure how it would do performance wise but exceeded our expectations. Plus got a great deal, almost $100 less on this site verses others. Would absolutely recommend.

You won't regret this purchase

Fantastic product. Exceptional value. we have a 12x24ft living room and no closed door into kitchen. it keeps the room a chilli 64° where it would otherwise be well over 100° in that room. I would definitely buy it again.

Fantastic product

Excellent, super cold air. Relatively quiet, shuts off automatically when it reaches the set temp. If I ever need another one Id definitely buy this exact model again.

No regrets, great unit at a great price

Works excellent for us in our pop up camper! Freezes us at night time! Makes the 95 degrees more bearable! Lowers us close to 20 degrees! Water collection tank makes it through the night, so we are happy!

Works well for us

The unit arrived with an incompatible window kit not right for a balcony floor to ceiling window.  I had to buy 2 windows kits that cost about $140.00 from Walmart.

Struggles to keep my apartment cool.

I'm disappointed, it's only 8,000 not 10,000. It does not shut off automatically when it reaches temperature like I thought or wanted. It runs constantly. It is working and cooling the room I can say that.

Not sure

Crap, does cool well but has to have water dumped like every other day, I have another one that I've had for 4 months and never had to dump it yet. Dumping is not easy either, have to unplug power and vent, roll outside, and replug everything in. Not worth it at all.

Buy a different one

would not recommend this product or any other like it, ever.  They do not cool. Used it in a small room, had it on 65 for at least 2 hours and it did not cool. I opened my windows and it was cooler that way more than this product. This product is crap.

8000 BTU Crap

I've had this AC for 1 month now and It does nothing but blow out hot air. I've youtube and googled so many different things to try and NOTHING has worked. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.
