The instructions for this windmill weren't very informative. It didn't even specify where the screws actually went — it just pointed in an area. I remember there also being a few questions of where extra screws went. We ended up having to use our personal bolts and screws for a couple of different areas. The windmill is very cute, but by day two, the actual mill flew off. We put it back on, and then it just fell off again. I wouldn't waste my money on this again, I suggest just going to your local farm store and buying a sturdy one for only $20 more.

item fell apart almost immediately.  Very, very, very cheaply made.

The bearing wheel vane crimp that holds it to the shaft became detached. IT FELL OFF.

The assembly instructions are almost worthless.

You are Not told where the small  and large washers need to go.

I called Costaway and they indicated that someone would contact me via Email, that never happened.

I could not assemble the braces correctly, my son found out that I had reversed the middle  corner leg, it had to be turned 180 degrees.

The wheel is mounted with a bushing rather than with a ball bearing and "zerk" grease fitting, this is not good practice.

The steel frame is not very strong.

The screws bag was broken, and  the screws were all over.

Very poor instructions and quality.

The top will not stay securely on

My husband got about 2/3 of this assembled but couldn't finish because wrong size parts to finish the rest. Horrible instructions. He found a video to help him do what he did do.  Now we have a windmill that isn't complete just sitting inside our house I guess until we toss it. Waste of money.
