Can be straightforward, but may require time and patience.

Lack clarity, making assembly challenging.

Many dislikes instructions but have a tape measure handiy and all will go easy.I assembled by myself with no problems.A great addition to any yard.this is not monkey bars for kids to climb on.

This was the lowest priced one I found. I ordered this on a Friday and it arrived the  following Wednesday. I was impressed with the way it was packaged. I was reluctant to buy this based on other reviews, but am very pleased so far. The instructions do lack some clarity, for example it didn't tell you where to put the washers. I put the four small ones on the screws for the deck and two large ones on the blade, front and back, and one large one on the shaft where it sets in the support. I also used thred locker on the screws based on the other reviews. I added two pieces of ceramic tile on the supports to hold two plants, I figured the added weight would help stabilize it.

Beautiful piece, however  the pieces were not marked. Took three times putting together before we got it put together.  We are enjoying the piece.

Received early

It looks great and have gotten compliments on it.  There is a problem with the instructions and diagram.  The printing is very small and the diagram with the parts aren't clear on which side is preferred.  IMO persons that are use to putting items together will not have and real problem.  But for those who aren't familiar  with tools and not clear instructions, for this is not a good step by step clear and easy to figure out, these persons may have a bit of a problem.  Also, before I forget, make sure this Windmill is level when the this product is ready for set up.  Further more the stakes that come with this product, may need to be changed out for longer and more secure stakes.  I used small rebar, I find they would be best if you live in a windy area.  (or something similar).

The good, it looks nice, the fan spins.  The bad, the instructions are terrible, buy a box of regular bolts and nuts and throw away the philips head screws and nuts they provide.  The head that turns with the wind is a rod bent 90 degrees and goes through an oversized hole in the head unit.  Should have bearings on it.  It sticks in one spot, doesnt move when the wind blows.  The anchors they provide wont hold up because they're 4 inches long.

You get what you pay for...

This is the 3rd windmill I have put together so I have my own directions remembered . The directions they send are worthless. I add washers on the screw end lock-washers on the nut side, otherwise they will not stay tight.  I was dissatisfied in the gauge of the metal in this product from Costway. I like the idea of bearings instead grease fitting on blade. Hope they last.

Know what you are buying.

The delivery was perfect! I love the windmill! I was warned, however,  from previous reviews about the directions being terrible and they underestimated.   THEY ARE HORRIBLE!!!!!!!!

Windmill great DIRECTIONS HORRIBLE!!!!!

Put it up on a Sunday and by Tuesday night the weld had broke on the head that keeps it up straight. Directions were very poor; had to take it back apart a couple of times to get it together. They pretty much just said, "look at the picture." Regardless, now I'm going to have to take it back apart to get the head brazed back together.  The wheel also has bushings rather than bearings. Should have bought a more Quality unit. Buyers remorse... :(
