I love this thing. I don't know how I ever survived before I got it. So, my boyfriend had to set it up for me. Simple enough. Great value for the price. Cold air, dehumidifier works like a dream, makes my bedroom so comfy. I've got it sitting on a stool, with mop bucket to catch the water it pulls from the air, and it is vented so you'll have to have it near a window.  Check your bucket often, the first two days, this thing pulled 3 mop buckets full.

Louder than we anticipated, but works well.  Showing room temp when off is a nice touch.  So is the dual temperature conversion, so we are not stuck with the US version.

Canadian Summer Helper

I put this in a bedroom and it works wonderful! 
I am so happy with this unit.
I have a large home  and I have purchased these for the bedrooms to help not run the central air unit on days I don't want to kick the air on. I live in missouri and we go from cold to hot on any given day. So these are a blessing to me!

Keeps the room cold ! Brrrrrrr

Extremely happy with this air conditioner... Received earlier than expected. The out-take vent fits the window...check window length to be safe... The air conditioner really saved me and my puppy...it meets my needs and exceeds my expectations, especially, when the temp reaches 100 degrees plus. I was so happy and my puppy survived the heat.

COSTWAY 8000 BTU AC Delivers!

Looks and operates like a unit costing more than we paid. Very easy to install. Includes a window kit for exhausting the heat. Produces lots of cold air and projects it well into the next room. This is an 8,000 btu unit. timer works good. Temperature display is accurate and unit will shut down when the temperature set point is reached and restart automatically when necessary. Adjustable direction air flow, up and down, side to side. Typical air conditioner noise level. We have not had to drain the drip pan yet as we live in dry climate in Colorado. The design is well thought out. This unit is VALUE.

Quality and value.

I bought two of these units to cool the bedrooms of our fourth-story apartment. Wow, do they get the job done! These are well worth the price and require little maintenance. Setup took me about ten minutes per unit. 
There are several functions for cooling, fan, and sleep. The temperature is also easily controlled and the sensor is very sensitive. One degree change and the air conditioner immediately kicks in. 
The unit is no louder than a normal AC unit, though I think the noise is sometimes a bit more since the back end of the unit is indoors instead of facing the outside. 
My only two complaints are that some of the functions can only be controlled using the remote. This is little inconvenient when the remote gets misplaced. Also, I did have the connecting hose fall out of the back of the unit after it was only slightly jostled, so make sure you check periodically and that you screw it in tightly.

Worth the price

We really love this unit a lot.   Was surprised how well it really cooling off our RV.  Our A/C broke do not have the money to fix right now but Florida humidity and heat at this time miserable, it's even winter.  Got this unit sat it up, it comes with a nice air vent to get the heat ventilated out of RV window.  Size perfect sits on counter with room to spare.  Has high and low settings also when the temperature gets to the setting you put it on like 69 degrees. It gets to that temperature it shuts off automatically and restarts self when temperature rises again.  Your able to adjust the temperature digitally.  All ran by push of the buttons. Very easy to use. Very happy with our purchase.  Will recommend to family and friends.

The Coolant

We are temporarily living in an older mobile home and the window AC unit we had just was not able to do the job. The difference with this unit was felt instantly and the room is remarkably cooler and more comfortable. It's sitting in the room right next to our TV and we do not have to turn the TV way up in order to hear it so it is relatively quiet running. Also presents a clean sleek appearance and is easy to operate.

Great product

i am not at all happy with this air conditioning unit at all.. the air that comes out of it is not really cold at all.. and it doesn't shut off when it reaches the temperature it is set to. i am VERY UNHAPPY with this purchase and i would NOT recommend it to anyone
