Ease Of Setup

Prone to snapping or breaking when bent or spread apart.

Suitable for large or high ceiling rooms.

Setup requires minimal effort and is straightforward.

Can be sturdy, but also appears cheap and sparse to some users.

Purchased Nov 2024. Was nervous it wouldn't be full enough, but after 2 hours of fluffing and unfolding branches, it looks great. I recommend long sleeves to protect your arms from little scratches while fluffing. Honestly shook about how great it looked. Take your time and she's a beaut' Clark!

Shoulda Purchased Years Ago

walmart.com

The cord for the lights are a little thin but overall it is a very beautiful tree. A great deal for the price. The size is good and it fluffs very well. No bare spots at all once fluffed. It has a lot of different variations for the lighting. The only thing negative would be the switch doesn't have a cut off so I have to unplug.

Perfect tree!

This was the best 9 ft tree we could find for the price! It was $160 when we bought it. It has the most lights and branch tips compared to any other 9 ft tree across multiple sites/stores that I found around the same price range. It also has multiple light options so we spent the whole Christmas season changing the light colors. It could use a lot of fluffing and maybe even some garlands around the center to make the tree look “fuller” but that wasn't a major concern for us. The tree does measure 9 ft and there is about a 1 %26 1/2 ft gap between the bottom of the tree and the floor. You could probably push the branch hinges down some more to reduce the gap but we didn't. Plus that means having to push all the hinges down for the entire tree which we didn't want to do. However, it gives plenty of space for lots of presents. I'm so glad we bought this tree, it made Christmas time so special!

Best Budget Tree!

I ordered the 9ft tree and I absolutely love it. It took some time to fluff up and spread out, but it exceeded my expectations. It was nice that you could choose white lights or multicolored. I didn't feel like it shed much at all either. I would definitely recommend!

Love it!

I was hesitant to order this tree online not knowing what it looked like in person, but it's fantastic. Finding a 9ft tree for under $150 in stores is impossible. When I looked at similar 9ft trees in store they were $300-$600 or more. Plus, this has so many lights and functions compared to the more expensive trees. Even if the thing doesn't last as long, you could buy three of these and it wouldn't add up to the price of what some of the other stores are selling 9ft trees for lol! But it does seem like good quality so in time we shall see. I highly recommend.

Fantastic Tree

Love the affordability of the tree. It is big and full. The lights work beautifully on it. The only downside is that the material of the branches are rough and when looking up close doesn't look as realistic as some of the other options trees. However, if you are looking for an affordable Christmas tree option then I would definitely suggest to pick this tree as a great alternative.

Beautiful 9ft Tree

The tree can be lovely even if the branches are a bit thin. The hours required to "fluff" and position all the branches have been tedious. In addition the lights must be carefully repositioned to provide an "even" look. Once all of this was done, it took the two of use about 7 hours to arrange the branches to reduce "bare" spots. The lights are nice, crisp, bright. There are several settings, from white to full mixed color, and various flashing settings and dimming settings that are useless. It would be an improvement if the settings included single color settings e.g. red, blue, green, etc. Since all the lights are capable of any color in addition to all-white, it would be nicer if we could choose single colors too.

Tree - Branches, Fluffing, Lights

Sadly, this will be a return after hours of fluffing. I would give this 3 stars at the sale price ($128) because I wouldn't expect Balsam Hill for that price by any stretch. Almost $400, which is the supposed original price, would be insane, which is why I gave 1.
While I did appreciate its fullness up to the tip, it was comically high off the ground. I uploaded a picture of it next to our armchair and the bottom of the tree is almost flush with the arm.
I have plenty of experience fluffing up artificial trees, and greatly appreciated the gloves they included because I had actually forgotten to bring mine home, but no amount of time or effort could fill in the space.
Look, for the price, this can be a great deal, if there weren't tons of other trees currently selling for around the same. But, if someone had tons of garland to wrap and cover all the exposed wire branches, filled underneath with presents right away and put tons of ornaments in the gaps, it's doable. Just not for me. Also would do great from far away, because it is full to an extent when you look from a distance, but get within 10 feet and you can see all the wire branches through the entire thing.

High off the ground to reach the height listed

So many branches were broken every time I spread out a branch one would break off so I had to tide each branch that broke to another one if I had the energy I would have pack it back up and return this tree .This tree is dry rotted because it's shedding to much I've have plenty of trees and this is the worse one I've ever had .

We got the tree after Christmas last year on sale, this year was our first year putting it up and half the lights don't work in the middle.. we tried everything. It also sheds quite a bit.
Tree looks full at least but the lights not working is a huge let down, sad I didn't find out till a year later.
