This juicer is slow and cold press, which is why I purchased it. This is for people who are serious about their juicing and are interested induce quality versus convenience. This does take some effort to clean and can be very touchy when putting back together it does have to be put together a certain way or it seems to not work. It's not that it's just that you have it put together wrong at a third time I figured it out and I like the separate bins for the juice and the pulp. I use the pulp bin to Take the pulp off the rest of the other parts and then throw it in the garbage the quality of the juice is what is important to me. It literally does extract 90% of the juice or more on the part that has the area where the pulp comes out of. There is a rubber piece on the inside that you must pull down to fully rinse out,  but as long as your finger fits in there m, it isn't too bad. That's the only part that seems to be the most difficult to clean and everything else rinses out pretty well.
