No strong spring back but can help those that have bad back but still want to do push-ups

Be careful coming back up. The hinge is right behind the seat and is exposed, so when you are reclining back it opens the hinge and on your way back to seated position it will pinch a nice chunk of your skin. BEWARE.  I have a towel rolled up in order to cover it and that has solved the issue for me. But beware especially if children try to play with it.  That is my only issue. I've been using this for a few weeks and I've noticed my abs are coming back to life. If you have a bad back, this is for you! I was not able to do regular sit-ups due to back issues and this allows me to do them. Not much tension so it doesn't feel like you are doing much of a workout but it seems to work cause I'm starting to see results. Seems too easy for an ab workout but I love this thing so far

I was so happy when it arrived...once assembled...and tried it...there is hardly not much resistance for abs ..diss-apointed .. I ended up giving it away  after one use...my old ab rocket has a better ab work out..

Hurt my back---I had to stop using after a few weeks to see if my back would improve and it did.  Something about this equipment was very hard on my lower back.
