Fails to lower room temperature significantly.

Produces loud sounds that can be distracting.

Can be a great value for some, but feels overpriced to others.

This product surprise me I was amazed how well it does cool central air on extremely hot days. If you use this and use the little cooling attachment bottles it helps bring the temperature in a room so I'm pleased with it. The value on sale was worth it I wouldn't pay any more for it though.

I have hated my window swamp cooler, I couldn't use my dining room when it was running.  I tried this portable cooler in my bedroom for my Great Pyrenees dogs to be comfortable.  They are comfortable, I am comfortable %26 I can use my dining room when these coolers are running.  It's easy to room from room to.room easily.  I purchased 2 more of these coolers %26.sold my big swamp cooler.  I am happy with the change %26 wouldn't go back.

This fan provides a nice breeze. Good for a warmer day when you need a fan with a little extra push to it. I wish it can on a taller base to be more suitable for taller beds. I've had for about a month and the water tank has gotten pretty gross but there's no easy way to detach it for cleaning.

I like that it does what's advertised. It works best in a small bedroom or office, not so much in a standard sized bedroom though. 

Add the frozen ice packs with ice cold water, and it'll give out cold air. It doesn't leak as badly as others say it does, it's also perfect for people who live in locations with dry heat. 

It's perfect for small, but well insulated rooms, and a great starter AC for people who aren't super handy or want an easy to fix appliances. 

Obviously it's not going to do as good as a window unit, but it's not meant to replace those. Pairs well with a ceiling fan and draft stopper if you must have a portable one.

It pumped too much moisture into the air. 
The humidity was terrible; It made everything feel like a soggy mess. It reminded me of visiting Miami in the middle of summer. But mechanically, it was working. And I don't think it really did anything to change the temperature. However, it did have a nice, four-litter reservoir tank that simply went dry after a few hours.

Maybe Not What You're Looking For

it would great other than the fact that you cant take the tank out to clean....doesnt have a light inside the tank to stop algae bacteria from growing in the tank which ultimately clogs the filter making it run down the side of the tank instead of the filter and then it sucks whatever it's sitting on make the holes bigger on the filter like we did and it works a okay. also if they would make it to where you could take make it a little bit easier to clean the blades are impossible to get to unless you disassemble the whole thing.

if you need something cheap that will cool you off, this could be the thing you want. It doesn't do so well at cooling a room, unless it's a small one. It's shorter than a similar one we bought from the same company that had cost a little more. This one doesn't really measure up to expectations, but it is good if you need a cooler in an emergency. We are going to use it as a backup after we can afford a better one.

Just okay for the price

It doesn't cool any better than my fan. And, is more a fan than swamp cooler. Put ice packet in, didn't make much difference. Speed control numbers 0,1,2,3, smudged and almost smeared off, as though ink stamped. As long as a couple ft away, and pointed right at you, works  alright.

Doesn't works to my satisfaction. The cooling or fan performance is not good. Tried to return nothing but problems  and tell me something different.  Got a label that I can't  get,read or print. And they want send me something to return it. How disappointed.

This humidifier filled with heavy mould after the first week of use. Clearly came from a heavily contaminated facility. The unit is designed to NOT be taken apart for cleaning. After 3 months of owning it the seller claims it is out of warranty. No support. Complete waste of money.
