Assembly

I am thoroughly impressed with how well this company packed this glass desk. It came all the way from California to New York in perfect condition. They took the time to double if not triple protect the glass and even the metal bars had protective coverings on them! It took me less than an hour to assemble with clear simple instructions (Two pages) I would definitely buy again. It did come a little late but that was due to the holidays. Even so, the company promptly responded to my inquiry as to where my package was. Awesome!

Impeccable Packing

I wanted a nice desk for writing that didn't take up too much space and was simple and uncluttered in design.  This desk fits my needs perfectly.  It arrived on time, very well packed, and as described.  The frame is black metal and the glass top is also black (laminated on the underside.)  It took all of 10 min to put together while I was watching Scandal so I wasn't exactly paying attention, to the desk that is.  Now, I read the other reviews that said the desk is wobbly or off-center once put together, but that is not the case at all if you follow some basic rules of building stuff, such as: Do not tighten the screws until you have all pieces put together.  Also, use a level (or a level app on your phone) to make sure that, as you tighten the screws as the last step, the desk is perfectly level and plumb.  The little feet of the desk screw in and are meant to help keep the desk level once you move it into position where you want it, simply screw the feet in or out to find the right height for each one, checking the level as you go.   That's all I did and my desk does not wobble, is not rickety in the least, is perfectly level, and looks fantastic.  I'm glad I didn't let other reviewers building skills (or lack thereof) dissuade me from purchasing this item.

great small desk!

My 14 year old son put it together by himself. He looks great and is a great price.

Very easy to assemble with tool provided. Pleasantly Surprised how big the desk top is, fitting my Mac and legal pad comfortably as I work! Fits perfectly in the corner of my room virtually occupying no space at all. Also have small desk lamp so overall extremely satisfied. Want to add how sleek “glass top is beautiful” and sturdy. Highly recommend this desk for those searching small desk while not taking up a lot of space.

Love it

The dark glass  and black metal base looks very appealing in my home office. It only takes up such a small amount of space and fits very nice against the wall. It's just enough room for a laptop and arm space to write or do other tasks. By it being lightweight, moving it is effortless. It takes really minimal time to put it together. Although, I do find it shifts some from side to side with more force or pressure on it while working it is not bothersome. I can say this is a nice task station for casual work that looks good at an affordable price.

The desk was easy to assemble even though directions were limited. The most difficult part is getting the frame square so the glass top will fit square with each corner. My suggestion is to not tighten anything completely until the glass top is in place. Then hold the frame so the top is square at each corner and tighten. This may require the assistance of another to hold while tightening. Very sturdy once assembled.

This table has the potential to be great. However, one of the poles in the back was too short and I was unable to screw it in. I would have liked to send it back, but I needed something ASAP.
