[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm an older grandma and bought this for my 5-year-old grandson.  I was waiting for my son-in-law to put it together because I knew it required a man or two adults to put this together, but my grandson is very anxious to start playing hoops with it, so I told him we could try and see what happens. Although the instructions were not very clear, I tried my best with my little hands, my grandson holding things for me as I put screws in places. My poor grandson complained the whole time, but we amazingly put it together.  This thing is very sturdy, and best of all, it's adjustable for a grown man. This will be useful until my grandson and other grandson become adults. I wish I could have taken photos step by step,how  we put it together. Every day they enjoy playing basketball and so do I. So if an old granny like me could do it with five an old super helper grandson, anyone could do it.

I recently bought this basketball hoop from Walmart. Due to a damaged package, I later discovered the water-filled base is cracked after assembly. I'm disappointed and would like a replacement base but I am asked to deassemble the whole and return it for a refund and they can not provide replacement. It was a huge waste of time for me.

Poor product quality!

I recently purchased a basketball hoop with a stand from Walmart. When I received the package a few days ago, I noticed that the packaging was damaged. At the time, my wife was in the hospital, so I didn't have the opportunity to inspect or assemble the product right away.
Today, I assembled the hoop and, after filling the base with water, I discovered that the base is cracked.
I am very disappointed with the condition of the product and would like to request a replacement for the base (the water-filled stand that stabilizes the hoop).
