Once assembled, it is extremely sturdy and solid. It's very easy to assemble, just a lot of steps. Directions say 2 person job, I did it alone and it took 3 hours. Only issue, the filing cabinet drawer will not close flush with the drawer above it. It sticks out about 1/4 of an inch. Everything is assembled correctly, it is just the way it is. Finally, the desk ships as 2 separate boxes. I received the 1st box and FedEx closed and finalized my tracking invoice, which made it seem like I was being shortly a box. However, it showed up 2 days later without issue. For the price, it is a wonderful, functional product.

Well worth the money!
